There are not many hotels in Eilat that can be considered real "five". These include three hotels built less than 20 years ago - Herods, Dan and Royal Beach. Each has its own advantages. And only the Dan Hotel has its own additional star - a wonderful person named Vladimir. I consider him the guardian angel of the hotel guests. It helps to make the rest comfortable and carefree, can satisfy the most incredible wishes of guests with claims and VIPs.

As for the hotel itself, it can really be worth the money (about $150/night per person in a double room with breakfast).
Everything is designed in a modern style, clean and tidy. The standard rooms are quite decent, but there may be a problem with the view - some face the sea and Aqaba (Jordan), and some face the sea and Eilat. Personally, I was fine with that, but if anyone needs a full sea view, I recommend the superior rooms. They are called Deluxe Sea & Pool View and cost almost $50 more than standard. If you want not only a full sea view, but also a higher floor (12 or 13 - the topmost) and free snacks, drinks, fruits all day, then you will have to pay the same amount for an Executive room. Just keep in mind that children are not allowed in the Lounge, located on the 14th floor (there are not just drinks like coffee, tea, soda, but also alcohol).

The food at the hotel is top notch! Breakfast is included in the price, but you have to pay extra for dinner. They are not cheap, but worth it! Huge selection of dishes, various delicacies...

The hotel area is great.
Like all hotels located in the tourist zone, it is quite compact. But at the same time very well-appointed. I especially liked the heated pool!

Dan's beach was renovated last spring. Sun loungers - free of charge. Passage through the pool and promenade. By the way, the promenade is very quiet (the most active party in the other part of the Eilat promenade is where the Rimonim, Leonardo Plaza and Hilton hotels are).

I recommend the Dan Hotel to tourists who are accustomed to hotels with the highest possible comfort and want the same during their beach holiday in Eilat. I also recommend to families with children (there are comfortable accommodation options + a good playroom).
