Lived in this hotel in early November 2010 - very lucky with the number.
We were given a room on the 10th floor overlooking the sea and pool.
Unlucky with the time of arrival - the Jews know all our holidays, so for the first 4 days we paid 590 dollars, then - 460 dollars.

But in general, the room was worth that kind of money - a great view, a spacious terrace. The terrace offers amazing views of the bay, the pool, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. We also observed crowds of tourists staggering and screaming on the embankment until one in the morning, and served all the musical and vocal numbers from nearby restaurants (and all this abruptly ends at some point between 12 and one in the morning). Since the air temperature was about 20 at night, and there were two sunbeds on the terrace, it was very convenient to sleep in the fresh air, to the music, inhaling the smell of flowers and tangerine trees growing on the terrace - the fruits of which were already ripe and tasted good (tested - I recommend).
Terrace options:
for tea drinking - there is a table with chairs,
to monitor vacationers on balconies and terraces,
for sunbathing, including without clothes (just hide behind the parapet, in Israel they don’t even sunbathe topless, and it’s hard to imagine what will happen to a Jew if he sees a bare ass).
Another option for using the terrace was suggested by the Italians who settled nearby - their passionate moans and other sounds were pleasant entertainment for us sitting on the neighboring terrace. . .
As for the technique, everything worked, although not without problems. But we knew from the reviews that the toilet in the rooms washes out every other time - so the advice is to go shit in the toilets located in the lobby. There, too, the flush does not always work, but this is not your problem. We did not immediately figure out the jacuzzi - the reason is us - we do not know English. Three times we invited the masters to fix the non-working nozzles for us, and then it turned out that the button for turning them on was mounted in the corridor (it was a terrible red color and not signed, so we were afraid to press it for a long time - then curiosity won - after pressing it, the hydromassage turned on) . Obviously, no one in the room dared to turn on the Jacuzzi for a long time, because along with the water from the nozzles, a lot of dirt and even a cockroach or a bug similar to it got out into the bath (we are not entomologists and did not begin to understand). But what a delight - we did it!!!
Meals, as in all hotels in Israel, are kosher, but we were mentally prepared for this and did not resent the lack of meat for breakfast and milk for dinner - they don’t come here to overeat, but to join the culture of the great Jewish people. (Note - those who have been in Muslim countries - they know, you will drive a little away from the resort area - there is no paper in any toilet, but there is a pot of water - such a culture. )

There are homeless people, but you don’t have to strain, they don’t sunbathe next to you on the beach.
There seems to be no prostitution, but the locals suggested how to deal with it - take a newspaper, order a masseuse and hint... (We didn’t try it, we don’t recommend it. ) (Note - this is easier in Tel Aviv - business cards are scattered on the pavement every evening at luxury hotels. )
Theft - after reading previous reviews, we tried not to let go of things, which we advise everyone. However, when we checked in, while we were making out a room, one of the vacationers grabbed our bag. We noticed in time and explained to him that he was wrong. Keep your valuables in the safe, but keep in mind that the hotel will reimburse the loss of valuables from the safe in the amount of no more than 2 thousand dollars (as it says there).
The sea is about 25 degrees - the Jews do not swim - it is too cold for them. We recommend snorkeling near the border with Egypt - there are coral reefs - very beautiful. A taxi ride from the hotel costs 35 shekels (for convenience, consider that a shekel is equal to 10 rubles, in reality - 8.6 rubles).
More about the hotel - they cleaned often and efficiently, we did not give a tip !! ! There are always Russian-speaking managers at the reception - problems are solved quickly. In the evening on the 2nd floor there is a daily show (circus, dances, performances of show groups, including people from Russia).
Before the show, we recommend sitting in the bar listening to the piano music of pianists from Russia - a lot of familiar melodies, although there are also classics.

Our tip for choosing a room - don't take the cheap one - might end up with a view of the neighboring hotel. (I do not recommend). Superior rooms (and increased prices, respectively) give the right to visit the VIP room on the 14th floor - do not deny yourself this pleasure - a lot of wines, whiskey, skates; snacks that are easy to turn into lunch or dinner. As well as the availability of computers with the Internet and a gorgeous view of the local airport, the city and the sea. (I recommend!!! )
Excursions - in our opinion, Timna and Petra - are like pyramids, it can be noted that you have visited, but if you are not an archaeologist, you will not get great pleasure, but spend money and time. We were at the Dead Sea and Jerusalem last time - the second time there is not interesting (tested on myself).
The most expensive tour is a free sightseeing tour of the city with a visit to the jewelry exchange. How much money was spent there - I won’t say - I personally promised Azik, the owner of the exchange, about this.
We advise you to visit a dolphinarium, an oceanarium, swim on a coral reef, and you don’t have to take an excursion from a guide - take a taxi (35 shekels) and go to the place, there are always tickets there. And on the reef everything is free.
Conclusion - insist on a joyful holiday. And all will be well. We have rested in many countries - the rest in Eilat is one of the best...
