This was my third trip to Goa and my second to Tiklo Resort. I am an experienced traveler. I read the reviews on this site all the time, but never wrote one myself. My review will be about the hotel and how to save rupees)))
In the airoport. Who has electronic visas, you need to go to another queue will scan your fingerprints. At the exit, they are met by guys who are ready to take your luggage to the bus. These are not airport employees and they have nothing to do with the tour operator. Luggage is carried for a fee! I do not recommend changing currency at the airport. The rate is very low. Better to do it in Calangute. There are many exchange offices near the hotel. It is more profitable to change large bills. Course: 100 dollars changed to 6500 rupees, 100 euros - 7600 rupees. I'll give you an example right away. My friend went shopping in Panaji and left a well-paid shopping bag at the store. So, a nice guy (unfortunately, I didn’t remember his name) from the reception settled everything. He called this store first, and then asked his friend to go and pick it up, and it's completely free. No matter how she tried to thank him financially, he took nothing. So a huge request: if there are tourists from Barnaul who want to visit this hotel, then if possible I would like to give him a present!!!
Check-in from 12 noon. If there are vacant rooms, then without any surcharges they will settle immediately. We got on a holiday - like our New Year, so there were no ready-made rooms. We left our things and went to the beach.

Beach. There are 2 roads. If you go from the hotel to the left and walk to the ring, and then to the right along the street past the retail outlets, you will exit to the main entrance to the beach. Lots of Indians. Noise, hum. Walk 5-7 minutes. We left the main entrance to the left opposite the football field, there is a red flag and there are no locals, so you can safely swim.
The second road from the hotel to the right, walk to the sign Dental Clinic, (our favorite Ayurvedic massage salon is also located there). You need to turn left and go along the path to the sea. We pass by a trade tent where you can buy inexpensive good things and T-shirts as a gift home. A pleasant young Indian trades with her mother, who speaks good Russian. She makes nice gifts. Her tent is on the left, and on the right is Shake Beach Queen. This shake is advertised on the Internet, only Russians stop there. We did not really like its location, as it is far from the sea, although there is a path. In the necks, sun loungers are free, you just need to buy a bottle of water there for 20 rubles, juice for 100 rupees. or beer for 90-100. We stayed at Neck Love. It is on the right, towards Baga.
Nutrition. I recommend to have dinner at the restaurant in Tiklo. Just super! Delicious tomato soup, onion soup, French soup, spinach soup, tandoori dishes, and everything else on the menu.

It is better to take a bus to the BETIM stop. This is the place where you need to transfer to a free ferry across the river. Drive 20-30 minutes. The main thing is to constantly tell the conductor or local BETTIMS so as not to pass. After getting off the bus, cross the road and walk to the pier. There is a free ferry there to save time, do not go around the bridge, in traffic jams. As soon as you get off the ferry in Panaji, go left along the street for about 50 meters. On the right, across the road, you will pass a blue-blue house and past it deep into. You will immediately see a shopping street with branded stores. The trip will cost you 30 rupees in both directions, by taxi 300-600. A one-way bus ticket is 15 rupees to the Bettin stop, to Panaji 20. But usually the conductor doesn’t give change, so it’s better to give exactly))))

Massage. There are many massage parlors in Calangute. Before finding ours, we experimented a lot. As a result, we stopped there. The owner is a doctor with a medical background, practices yoga. My foot hurt for almost two years, our doctors could not do anything, they prescribed only insoles and special shoes. But after 10 sessions everything was gone. Here's how not to believe after that in medical Ayurveda?!! ! I watched one woman try to persuade the doctor to give her a two-hour massage, but he convinced her on the first day not to do it. Another would take the money and... - any whim for your money. I did a 60 min full body massage and a 30 min facial rejuvenation program (scrub, mask and massage). The effect is just great!
