I went to India for the first time and the first time myself. I found 3 girls on the site of fellow travelers and flew. We all settled in different hotels but chose to be close by. I chose Villa Vicente 2*. To begin with, the location of the hotel is not correct on any map. And very far from the place where it is celebrated. The hotel is located on the border of two beaches, Calangute and Candolim. So I ended up away from my friends. The hotel itself was a bit of a shock upon arrival. But I was ready, I read that hotels in India are not Turkey and Egypt))) They gave me room 106. This is probably the best room in the hotel. Previously, they showed me the other three numbers, and when I refused, they offered this one. The room has a ceiling fan, air conditioning, TV, wardrobe, desk and double bed. Great balcony with swing chair, table and pool view. The room is on the second floor, and I advise everyone to take the second floor. balconies only on the second floors. Our other tourists were very unhappy with the rooms, almost all of them did not work, there were dirty sheets and towels. Everything was ok for me. I didn't pay for the room. There was always hot water in the room. My tour included breakfast. For breakfast at the hotel, tea or coffee, scrambled eggs or boiled eggs and toast with butter and jam. Their coffee is terrible, but I took a jar of Jacobs from Ukraine and poured only hot water and milk in the dining room. I advise you to do the same if you are coffee lovers in the morning. Never ate breakfast. The hotel staff is very friendly. Indians are generally very friendly people, always smiling and helpful. The room was never cleaned, but I didn’t leave the key, only at the end of the holiday I found out that the key must be left for cleaning)
When my girls came to my hotel, they were all shocked in what conditions I live - shocked in a good way. All of them lived in 3* hotels. I was in their hotels and mine is really just five-star against the background of their hotels))) Hot water, none of them had balconies either, for breakfast they only had bread, eggs were paid. Everything is bad and scary. So comparing I can say that my hotel is very good for India. A big minus for me is that you can not smoke by the pool and on the territory, only in the room. Moreover, when I arrived it was possible, and then forbidden signs were hung everywhere and banned. I was also surprised that when guests come, you can only drink in my room, when the girls and I decided to sit by the pool, we were told that we had to pay 100 rupees each. And the girls came to me often. my hotel was the best of all.
Well, minus the road to the beach, of course, in the evening it is dark and scary there. I never risked going down this road in the evening myself. Hindus will never offend, this is a very safe country, but other tourists are drunk... In general, I was afraid to go there.

So if you are thinking about going to this hotel, my advice is unequivocal - go! For the money, this is decent housing, but again by Indian standards.
