We have been dreaming of visiting India for a year and a half. And finally it happened - there were both time and money for such a trip. Since we went for the first time, we decided to go as civilized tourists (that is, we arranged everything through a tour agency). To this end, we turned to the Russian network of tour operators Alfa, where we were offered the Royal Goan Beach Club at Haathi Mahal. I can rate this hotel in a modest but solid four. Small, cozy, clean, built in a colonial style. Large numbers. Good breakfast. The beach is beautiful - clean fine sand. The hotel recommends taking breakfast only. Near the hotel you can always eat tasty and cheap. Prices there are generally quite acceptable (at least compared to St. Petersburg). When we arrived, the weather was the best - there were clouds in the sky and it was not so hot. By the end of the trip, the clouds disappeared and the sun was so hot that you could get burned in 10 minutes. Therefore, take a sunscreen with maximum protection. It is better to go for a couple of weeks - less is not enough, more is a lot. We were going for a week, but on the recommendation of an employee of the Alfa travel agency, we risked going for two. Which we don't regret at all. These are a few recommendations for those who are going to India. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are traveling with a family.
