I chose the hotel spontaneously, according to some reviews it was listed as located in the Colva area, according to others - Cavelossim. In fact, this is the village of Fatrade. It is 10 km to Colva, 3 km to Cavelossim (it takes 45 minutes to walk along the beach). The hostel itself is represented by two houses, one of them is indicated in the photo, the second is similar. In my building there are 4 rooms on the first floor, the same number on the second. They put me on the 1st floor. The room is clean, instead of a closet there is a niche with a curtain, in the kitchen area there is a small refrigerator, a small kettle, 2 glasses and 2 cups. There is a balcony. Everything is clean and new. The room has a clean white towel. The owners are a local family. They understand only English, but try to understand by gestures. The room was cleaned every day. If you need to call - they give a phone, Money also changed with them at a rate even higher than in other places. They have a car and, if necessary, you can arrange to be taken either to the store or where you need to. The price was not higher than taxi drivers. At the beginning of the holiday, Wi-Fi was only in the corridor, near my building and in another building. At the end of the holiday, the Internet was launched in the rooms of our building. During the whole holiday in the whole building I lived alone, which was good, because the soundproofing is terrible and I don’t think I would like to relax if several local companies stopped by nearby. In another building, 3-4 rooms were occupied. All Russians. Rest reminded rest in the village with my grandmother. Quiet, calm, next to a field with grazing cows, rare courtyards of one-story houses with grazing pigs and roosters. Nearby a little further there is a small hotel with a pool, but there are no Russians there, a few Englishmen were resting. It's expensive to eat there. In the other direction - the road to the beach and shops (2). Walk 8 minutes to the first cafes and another 10 minutes to the beach. There are 2 good cafes. There are also 2 cafes on the beach - you can have lunch. This is all. The shops are small, but you can buy milk, bread, eggs, frozen food. For fruits, you need to either go to the city of Margao (the bus runs 5 times a day, it takes 40 minutes to go) or walk to the upper street (30 minutes). There in the morning you can buy fresh fish and shrimp and in a cafe for 100 rupees they will cook them for you. The beach is wonderful, large, the sand is crisp, there are 6 people on the beach on the left near the cafe and 8 people on the right. Sun loungers and umbrellas freely.
In general, a holiday for those who love peace and relaxation. Although many took a bike and went where they needed to.
