Hi all!
If you decide to choose this hotel, perhaps my review will be useful to you. The hotel, despite its 3 stars, is very good. Clean well-groomed territory, very beautifully decorated with lawns, flower beds, palm trees. For children there are swings, small carousels, but still the kids will be bored there. It's good that we didn't take our children. But if you are traveling with children, be sure about food. In the morning they always give delicious porridge, scrambled eggs, milk with cereal, well, however, as in any hotel. Although, being in Sri Lanka and Egypt in 5 * hotels, we did not meet cereals.
In general, the food at the Nanu Resort is very good, although there are no pastries and a small selection of desserts. There are puddings, jelly, ice cream. And that's it. As a lover of sweets, I had to buy something for tea in stores. Juice is given from packages, fresh fruit is also available, usually for breakfast and dinner.

We ate according to the HB system, there is no full board at the hotel. We dined at the restaurant at the hotel, very tasty, a good selection of seafood, super prices, huge portions, to be honest. very tasty Kingfisher beer.
They also visited the beach necks a couple of times and swore off going there. Well, what the hell, unsanitary conditions, sand underfoot, greasy tables and chairs, wiped with torn rags. Waiters without uniforms or caps, wiping their hands on their pants or tablecloths. I don’t even want to think what is going on in these necks in the kitchens and what kind of chefs there are. And we ourselves saw how the dishes are washed there. A flaky basin of water, and dirty dishes are thrown in it, and then the water is thrown out right behind the neck. Prices in shakes are not cheaper than in restaurants, honestly. Moreover, they do not have stable prices. The owner of the neck can show you a menu with one price, and issue a check for more. As they explain, their prices jump every day. Haha.
Sunbeds on the beaches can only be borrowed if you order something in the necks, the hotel does not have its own sunbeds. This is inconvenient, because I did not want to eat in these eateries. I had to lie on my own towels or order drinks I didn’t need to take a sunbed.
Smm, the beach is clean, sandy, the sea too, beggars walk, but are not imposed, ignoring them is all.
But the road from the hotel to the beach is something! You need to cross a small bridge over a terribly polluted smelly river, then past two shops, then through the bushes. So, the whole road to the beach is a dump. Garbage dump natural with heaps of rotting garbage, crows and herons fighting for waste. It stinks of carrion, smoke, rot and similar "yummy". Nobody cleans up the dirt, nobody! Shopkeepers don't care about piles of rubbish right under their walls. There are no bins or containers. Apparently, there are no public utilities in India. And in the bushes! Mom dear! And among all this charm, local residents with children rest, right next to the "fragrant" heaps. They eat, sing, dance, play ball and leave behind even more garbage. Nobody cleans up after themselves. NEVER! And don't care about the tourists.

And the hotel is clean. The rooms are cleaned every day and very high quality, the restaurant is clean, the kitchen has transparent walls, you can see how they cook. Dishes are washed in the machine, tablecloths are changed every day. Well done hotel staff!
The rooms are very comfortable, plumbing and refrigerator work perfectly. There are no hair dryers and fumigators, you must definitely take them with you, otherwise mosquitoes and ants climb into the room. Very friendly and efficient staff. There is simply nothing to complain about. The hotel is super, you can go safely without fear of disappointment. It is better to speak English, the staff does not know Russian or knows very, very poorly. The safe is free at the reception, it is better to change the currency at the hotel. Or in shops on the bridge. In no case do not change at the airport, the exchange rate there is extortionate.
We took excursions on our own from taxi drivers near the hotel. The price is the same as from a travel agency, but you go by car, quickly, you don’t wait for anyone, you are your own boss. I generally never go on tours with groups. You sit and wait forever for someone and the guide chatters incessantly, and time is limited. And taxis are nice! But again, you need to know English!
We made purchases in the capital Panaja. The shops there are good, especially the Bombay Bazaar. Quality items, not artisanal. You can buy souvenirs, great knitwear, toys with a local touch, T-shirts with funny slogans like "Don't tip Indian elephants! " etc. For gifts, that's it.
Not far from the hotel there is the village of Colva. We bought fruits and souvenirs there. But there is also such dirt on the streets! There's rubbish, rubbish, rubbish in the ditches. It's very stressful. But in India it's the prose of life, so you have to take it for granted or don't go there at all.
Yes, and take sunscreen with you, do not buy there. It is locally produced and does not protect at all, either expired or simply not of high quality. Take yours and smear from the first day and more abundantly! And you will have a great vacation! )))
