I’ll start with the check-in, the room was Deluxe, but don’t flatter yourself, they are very old and shabby, we were lucky that our room was on the second floor, and all this Indian evil spirits in the form of ants and so on didn’t crawl up to us, and there were no bedbugs in the mattress it was, although the neighbors from the 1st floor had... this is a fact ((We asked to change the room to a newer one, we were told "tomorrow" every day, as a result they showed two even older rooms, and we decided to stay in ours, moreover time, we have already tasted the local rum, and everything began to seem easier))) A huge plus is the beach! it is white, wide, with colorful shacks and sun loungers, you understand that everything else is not so important...
Everything is difficult with food... even if you are not particularly picky... We imagined a vegetarian breakfast - vegetables, fruits, yogurts. In fact, no vegetables, fruits - unripe watermelon, and everything else is their local "brew" like beans in gravy, or potatoes with something else in gravy, or just some kind of incomprehensible slurry... Everything is very spicy even tea! ))) For breakfast they serve masala chai with spices and milk, there is no other, so the first morning was just a shock, then they adapted to eat the least spicy dishes.
There are 2 supermarkets in the village, the one next to the hotel, and the far one, on the same side, only 15 minutes walk, many pharmacies, where we bought toothpaste as a gift instead of magnets ))

Well, to summarize, I’ll say that Cavelossim is a heavenly place where you want to return, and if you have the opportunity, choose another hotel (Shikara is much better nearby), but if not, buy rum and relax, because. no one will respond to your claims anyway, so do not spoil your nerves and rest, but just put up with it, because in the hotel, in fact, you will only spend the night.
