Very quiet courtyard, considering that the hotel is located on the busiest street in Colva. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar with very good prices. We returned a second time to the same hotel due to the availability of transport, the abundance of nearby shops and pharmacies. For the budget traveler this is the best hotel. Of the shortcomings, only the lack of repair, but it's 2 stars.

In the room there is a table, a bed, a mirror, a TV and a wardrobe. We didn’t need more, because they only came to sleep and wash. The water was always hot, the lights were turned off a couple of times, but the generator was immediately started. An additional place in the hotel is a mattress, you can’t even ask for a bed for money, the only thing you could ask for was 2 mattresses and put them on top of each other. But we solved this problem in our own way, because one person lived in our room and he had 2 beds, we asked at the reception to transfer one bed from his room to ours. They did everything quickly, without problems and money. (They were given 100 rupees for a tip). Of the living creatures in the room, they saw a small frog twice in the bathroom, they caught it and let it out into the street, but again somehow it ended up in our bathroom. There were no cockroach ants. Although sometimes they left open chips in the room. The fan was enough for us. Cleaning on request. A couple of times left the key at the reception, cleaned normally. Sand was removed from the floor, linen and towels were changed. Towels got normal but linen the first time white and the second time with stains. They took theirs from home. they slept on it when they brought stained linen to us. They don't steal anything. Only a couple of small garbage dumps were seen where the pigs were digging cutely. Shops are all near the hotel. Prices are cheap, well traded. We went to Margao to the market, did not like it. You can buy all this in Colva cheaper and in a relaxed atmosphere. We took a scooter, the traffic is crazy, but you quickly get used to it. On the roads, all polite people will always let you pass if necessary. You can write endlessly about India. She won our hearts. I didn’t rest in 2 stars before, but in the summer I was in a Turkish hotel, which used to be 5 stars, and then lost one star due to the small territory. So I didn’t notice a difference in service, except that in a Turkish hotel for the first 4 days (out of 7), for some reason they forgot to clean up.
Even on the beach, that is, when buying a tour, pay attention to the type of room. We were offered a choice - with or without air conditioning. We chose “without” for two reasons - firstly, it was advised in some review, saying that the air conditioners there are rather stupid and only get colds for nothing, and secondly, because it was 5.000 rubles cheaper.
So, the third and main reason turned out to be that the rooms without air conditioning are located in the coveted building overlooking the pool. It is really noticeably more comfortable than the other building, both externally and internally, and the view from the windows too.
The fact that Russians are deliberately sent to a building overlooking a transformer box is an erroneous opinion)). We were placed in a beautiful room overlooking the pool the first time and absolutely free. And there were quite a lot of Russians in this corps.
The area where the hotel is located is the center of commercial and social life. People come here by taxi, buses, tuk-tuks and many tourists come on foot. These are Indians from other parts of India, and foreigners from more remote hotels.

From the point of view of the fact that I would like to somehow not be all the time in the center of attention and under camera flashes. Although you could feel like a Hollywood star)).
Our mistake was that we did not go a little to the right. 200 meters along the beach - and there is almost no local population. And if you settle down for a holiday in the territory near the red flag, then this will mean a “zone only for tourists” and the slightly intrusive local population is expelled from there by special workers.
Such a zone, for example, was near the Boomerang cafe, where we began to spend our days and evenings.
Firstly, because the owner's brother has a very good taste in music and he often sits at the bar with a laptop and puts on the most beautiful music.
Secondly, because instead of umbrellas (more precisely, together with them), palm trees with coconuts create a shadow))
Thirdly, under palm trees with coconuts there are sunbeds, juices, food, candles are brought to the sunbeds in the evening and you can simply live there.
Fourthly, there are all sorts of board games, you can just take them and play. As well as billiards, different balls and a volleyball net on the territory. All this also contributes to a boring time.
And fifthly. If you want to buy cashmere, gold, silver in Colva, it is very convenient to do it there, from the imposing handsome man John. His shop is right next to the cafe. He has a good sense of humor and allows you to buy without money... which completely surprised me. That is, he trusts the buyers so much that they will allow them to pay the next day, picking up the purchase today, and in the end he even offered us to send payment by mail already from Moscow, if we don’t have enough.
It is convenient and reliable to buy from him. he is very interested in clients for the future, positive references and his reputation. Price drops to a very pleasant. When the kid tore a couple of beads from the mannequins for him, he only said “but problems” and calmly collected everything. And in the end, he also gave her gifts.
There is another shop that sells clothes. A petite 18-year-old Indian woman will talk to you on any topic, she speaks good English, and then she will invite you to come and see. In general, you can also bargain well. In my opinion, she has a taste and she chooses very nice goods for her shop.

First we went with a hotel taxi driver. We agreed on a free market for 1400 rupees, as a result I had to pay 1700, because. It turned out that 4 hours were not enough for us there. It is logical, of course, that you have to pay for additional waiting, but the sediment remained. It was not very pleasant, especially when it appeared, with what to compare.
For further trips, we found another excellent taxi driver nearby, he usually stands somewhere halfway from the hotel to the sea, his car is quite old, light, in the form of a small bus.
When everyone offered to go to Panaji for 1200 rupees and pay for additional hours of waiting separately, he agreed for 800, took us everywhere, showed us everything, waited as long as necessary. And on the way back, he offered to take us up the mountain for an additional payment of 150 rupees. It was wonderful! There's a Catholic church on top, squirrels everywhere, giant butterflies, a huge tree, and a large bird of prey's nest. And it's very quiet, calm and peaceful there. Hectares of palm trees, different cities and districts, about which he spoke, are visible from a height. And he also said that the most amazing thing on this mountain happens on Christmas - a wonderful procession with chants and candles, from the top, from the church they go to the foot. So if anyone happens to be at this Christmas time, you can go there!
The tour lasted 8 hours, and all 8 hours I didn’t get bored for a second, and I could have listened to it again and again! He instilled in me an interest in the history and culture of India and generally turned my life around a bit)).
We took an excursion there “All the most interesting things in Goa in 1 day”, we didn’t regret it at all. Everything is really interesting, and the perfect compromise, so as not to torment a small child with long excursions, and at the same time entertain him with elephants and monkeys.
