Italy...
Hello everyone, I would like to share my already slightly cooled impressions of a trip to Italy. July, 2008.
This was my first trip to Italy, I went through Natalie Trus having read a lot of positive and negative things about this tour operator in advance. But the price, as well as the line-up tour itself, attracted me.
It all started with the fact that we had to get visas at Domodedovo, somewhere at night, the flight was at 6-7 in the morning. And what do you think, we were given visas 2 hours before registration, at 3 o'clock in the morning, and the crush was incredible, standing first in line, I was the last. Well, thank God they gave us visas, and we successfully boarded the plane. They flew quickly, and after 3.5 hours they were in place.
Heat, July....
We were collected at the airport, our guide was called Natasha (aka Rose), she is very good, she knows the country and her business.
So, straight from the ship to the ball, we were taken to the Republic of San Marino. If you want to buy something, buy in San Marino, it's cheaper there, checked))). I liked the bags most of all in San Marino. They cost about 130-150 euros, not known masters, but nevertheless, you will not find such ones in Florence (where leather is their strong point), or in Rome.
Then we were taken to Venice, but we drove for 6 hours, and we were placed not in Venice itself, but in a suburban city, where there was nothing to do but sleep. Which I personally did, not sleeping for 2 days in a row.
Early, early in the morning already at 7 am we were in Venice. This is a city, this is a fairy tale. Seeing the gondolas, the city on the water, numerous bridges, masks, you do not realize how much you will miss it later.
We were taken to a glass factory where they make jewelry, dishes, chandeliers from Venetian glass. Beauty (see photo below). The decoration costs about 78 euros; in Moscow, via the Internet, such a decoration costs about 5.000 rubles at least. I bought for memory. Different souvenirs from 15 to 30 can be bought. Chandelier from the same Venetian glass about 2000 euros. Then there was a sightseeing tour of Venice, free time, a visit to the palace, and some free time.
At lunch, we were offered a lunch for 30 euros, a group one, I agreed very tasty and did not regret that I gave the money.
Going on vacation and eating buns, well, it’s kind of wild for me, you need to get to know the cuisine, the features of local chefs. Very tasty sea reptiles in Italy, in batter there are no words at all.
In Venice, the spirit is special, the air, the streets are small and narrow. Many residents walk their dogs. Everything is great. I regretted that I had not bought a lace umbrella, it was very beautiful. In Venice, I started buying cards and making calls from a payphone, which is very profitable and convenient. One card (about 5 euros) is enough for 20 minutes of conversation, and it didn't cost me anything in Russia.
Tired and walking up, we were taken to the hotel.
Then we went to Florence, Pisa, Siena. Each city is beautiful in its own way. There is a lot of gold and leather in Florence, however, handicraft leather products, I didn’t find anything so-so.
Pisa is known for its field of miracles, a bunch of souvenirs like Pinocchio, a leaning tower and, as always, a bunch of tourists.
And finally, Rome, a city with many, many monuments. You stand at the Colosseum and think, but was it really built so long ago.
The best guide to Rome is the movie Roman Holiday. And a night tour of Rome, night fountains, crowds of tourists cannot betray all this, you need to see it.
Our hotel in Rome was located on the outskirts of Rome, but it was 4 *. Delicious food and a great hotel.
The rest of the time we were settled in 3 *, quite acceptable.
But the most impressive in Rome is the Vatican, with its beautiful church, and a special spirit.
We were in Rome for three days, which is very short, it is necessary to return for a complete inspection of the whole of Rome.
On the way back, we were taken to Naples, a very colorful city, but we spent just three hours in it.
And finally a week at sea. Adriatic, not the cleanest sea, but for lack of a better one, it will do)))
The city of Riccione is a whole network of cities of Riccione, Rimini, etc. Now you can’t remember everyone, with very tasty cuisine, and friendly people.
So, if you have found a material component, then feel free to go to Italy, a country where you can see, learn, love, appreciate and buy a lot!! !
