First time in Europe
So the story of Italy. The flight was on November 13 from Koltsovo airport, which is in Yekaterinburg. We arrived in our car. We left it at one of the nearby parking lots (90r per day). Although at first we stopped at the parking lot that was to the right of the airport and there they broke the price of 150 rubles - apparently because of the Chelyabinsk numbers. We reached the airport on foot in about 10 minutes. Good suitcases on wheels. We waited for the distribution of documents from the Denas travel agency, passed the registration, there was no overweight, they gave us a place nearby. Generally excellent. The flight went well, unlike the previous one. On the plane, they poured wine, juice, fed quite decently ... Upon arrival, we boarded the buses in 15 minutes we were already at the hotel. Hotel Fiorana. In front of him, at a short distance, there was a smell of garbage, but the hotel itself did not smell of anything like that. They settled us quickly. The room was also for three.
Unlike other guests, we had a shower, bidet, sink, toilet, and all this in a fairly spacious room. For other visitors to the hotel, the shower was directly above the toilet .... Terribly tight! ... but we were lucky. In addition, we had a balcony. And the second shower room in the room, which we initially mistook for a pantry. True, there was no shower itself, but water flowed. The next day was a trip to Florence. We traveled there for several hours on a double-decker bus. Beautiful city. Guide Sergey, who led the tour
Florence is just great. I regretted 2.5 € for an earpiece that increased the volume of the guide in vain. Because Sergei spoke convincingly, interestingly and with humor. In addition, I put on a sleeveless sweater with Durra, relying on the weather announced by the Internet .... First I had to drink vodka in one of the establishments (10 €! But since it was daytime, we reduced the price to 8). Chips and nuts were brought to the vodka.
And the vodka itself was not in a glass, but in a glass ... it seemed to me that there was a lot of it ... In general, talk about the fact that it warms is greatly exaggerated. I didn't feel anything like that. But I bought a trowel with the inscription Florence Firenze). Here it is relief and warmth! By the way, thanks to the market where we bought a trowel, we were able to see a wild boar. This boar was previously told to us in a documentary about Florence shown on the bus. Except us, no one found him. We rubbed his tongue, threw a coin (Russian, of course) and returned to the square. Since I don’t remember at all what the guide is talking about, I won’t be able to tell anything specifically about monuments and architecture. I’ll say down to earth that it’s very beautiful and there are a lot of naked male sculptures ... even somehow embarrassing ; . We got back quite late. Tired and satisfied.
Previously, we bought tomatoes, cucumbers, fruits, bread, beer in a store that was not far from the store ... The next day, Rome was appointed. I had to get up even earlier - the bus departed at 5:20 in the morning. It probably took five hours to get there. The co-leader before him this time was Yuliya…. Personally, I (but many others) did not like Julia. Answered with some kind of ambition, Imported to expensive places - probably lives on interest. There was a lot of walking in Rome itself. Tired. Ruins. The Colosseum was more striking in the photo. Maybe it looks better at night? We were also led by a Russian girl who has been living in Rome for a very long time and knows history well. The Pantheon, fountains, many of which are in the movie "Angels and Demons", beautiful buildings and ruins ... Due to fatigue and complete loss of memory, I did not want to go to the Vatican at all. We gave up this extra tour and walked to the Vatican ourselves. Where there was a huge queue! just huge!
We didn't go inside. Walked nearby. We looked at trinkets, masks, neighborhoods, bridges, sculptures. Living sculptures have been seen several times in Rome. By the way, it is very similar to the real ones; . And in the Vatican they saw guards in funny outfits ... Colored, striped. You can see it on the photo. Then we met again with Julia and she again took us to one of the shops. True, there we bought an icon illuminated by the pope. On the way we stopped at the parking lot where there was a store. There I bought a huge Milka tile for a promotion, and the second one was included free of charge and all this joy for only 5 €. We arrived at the hotel late again. We drank a beer. The next day, we additionally bought an excursion to San Marino. Don't drive very far. We left in two days. By the way, this was the first time we ate at the hotel. Breakfast was in the dining room. The tables were lined with plates filled with thin slices of ham and cheese. There were also boiled eggs on the table.
On the common table there were cupcakes, jam, toast, a drink from something sour; . By the way, going back, I’ll tell you about my shock when I asked the manager: “How will breakfast go if we leave for excursions so early. ” To which she replied that they would give us bread and water. I was shocked. In fact, they were such huge sandwiches of bread, ham and cheese. And a bottle of water. In San Marino, again, Yulia immediately took us to a wine tasting in one of the shops. Where the wine turned out to be very expensive compared to other stores. I didn’t try almost anything - because there was a crowd of our tourists, and I don’t like crush. Instead, I looked out the window at the beautiful opening landscape of a beautiful state within a state - San Marino. At this time, an elderly man (maybe the manager) first treated me to candy, which was very nice. Then coffee. And then he gave me a bottle of almond wine. Very tasty by the way.
But I never spent a cent there . Cunning. Then they all walked together to one of the towers built long ago to protect the republic. We also rode the funicular down and up again for 4.5 €. We decided to come back here again. We returned to the hotel not late and managed to walk through the nearest shops, where I bought an excellent autumn jacket. Oh, and a blouse too. ... We drank beer again on the balcony. There, by the way, the balcony was closed with blinds from prying eyes - conveniently. Although I admit drinking beer in Italy is even strange somehow. As a result, we drank one of the bottles of wine purchased by Nastya and Dima. The wine is delicious. The present. The next day, again, a bus picked us up from beach 44 and we went to Venice. (All stops in Italy are numbered, but do not have a name like ours). We arrived at the port. Then they sailed on a boat to the city itself. Venice is a beautiful city.
Pigeons were fed on the main square, and then Yulia "in time" said that this could not be done, because they had dirtied everything around. But we didn't care. We fed the entire "breakfast" from the hotel. There are a lot of pigeons there! And seagulls. And some other birds. Yulia again brought us to the "inexpensive" shop. This time it was a shop-workshop of Murano glass. Everything is sooooo expensive. I did not buy anything there for two reasons 1 - I'm greedy 2 - I'm not a connoisseur of such things. For example, a small figurine of a string of insects could cost 10 € there. And in fact, this bug is useless to me. But at least once they saw how glass is obtained from molten sand (and something else, of course), and then the necessary elements are drawn in from it and beauty is obtained! In Venice, the guide was Italian. She spoke with an accent. Interesting. Went to a few places of interest. We refused lunch at a restaurant for 25 € and went to look around this amazing city on the water ourselves.
There are no cars there. The guide said that you can't even ride bicycles. I understand that life for young people there is quite boring. All paths are paved with stone. A huge number of omsts and bridges. The buildings are shabby from the salty damp air.
There are very narrow streets. On these streets is the entrance to the apartments. The houses have two exits - one to the land, the other to the water. Hungry, we went to one of the cafes. Ordered spaghetti and beer. Each cost 18 €. By the way, no matter how many waiters I saw, they were all men! Very young and mature men. So strange. Venice was the most expensive city. The guide said that many of the young people leave the city for Rome and other Italian cities because of the high cost and difficulty in earning money, since most of the income comes from tourism. Undoubtedly, this is a very beautiful city. Interesting. As for the smell - yes it was present. But we noticed him for the first 15 minutes. Then we probably got used to it.
But we missed the bus to San Marino. We went by taxi, bargaining with an Indian up to 23 € for 5 people. They went upstairs. It was very windy. Chilled and went to a restaurant that was located on one of the peaks of the center of San Marino. I stupidly ordered potatoes and sausages (I missed mashed potatoes with sausages). They brought french fries with three meat sausages! And I'm a vegetarian. And then there's the meat... fi… well, actually, having eaten his pizza, Dima had to eat those sausages too. We also drank delicious beer. We paid 17 €. It was very beautiful there. Very cozy. There are few people. Then we went to the Vampire Museum, but since the Italians have some kind of strange lunchtime schedule (they start working at 3 or 4), it turned out to be closed. Went to the free museum of San Marino. We walked along two floors, where sculptures, coins, paintings, etc. were exhibited. We visited the museum of torture as we wanted. Entrance 8 €. Very interesting.
Solemn, majestic and frightening music plays. Samples on red material and next to it is a picture of how this item was used. Three floors…. At the very bottom of the dungeon. Probably real. The overall impression is scary and interesting ... horror. Our taxi driver waited for us back (and we had to wait about 3-4 hours). Well, it was not in vain that we decided to wait, and although there was a bus in the parking lot, we decided to go by car. The next (penultimate day) was devoted to the city of Rimini itself, in which we lived. We got to the main sights (Tiberius Bridge, Arch of Augustus, Malatesto Castle). We went to eat in a cafe where, again, out of stupidity and out of curiosity, I ordered pasta with salmon (it was so signed with a pen on the menu. So what if there were mistakes. But we tried). In general, the pasta turned out to be bad. Even out of greed and economy, I could not finish them. But the beer was delicious. They paid 15€ for everything.
Walk, not burdened with time, tourists, guide was easy and interesting. In the same place, I bought inexpensive shoes (City mode) in one of the stores. Excellent with boots for 29 € and 49 €. Yes, they were not branded. But I'm clearly not one of those who are chasing sonorous names, etc. We went to the supermarket, which turned out to be surprisingly very cheap. For example, a can of beer cost 1 €. Fruit compared to the store that is next to our hotel cost an order of magnitude cheaper. For 4 apples we paid 1.49 €. And in the store next to the hotel, we gave so much for one apple. On the last day we were evicted from our rooms at 10 am. And they were taken from the hotel to the airport only at five in the evening ... in general, I had to do something with myself. We walked to a fountain with horses that had water from their nostrils. And then we sat at the hotel with young people from Yekaterinburg. We drank a lot of wine and ate pizza. Speaking of pizza. There is a pizzeria next to the hotel. I fell in love with Vurshtello pizza. It costs only 4.5 € there.
On the day of departure, the pizzeria was closed and I bought one in one of the cafes where it cost 6.5 €, but thanks to my smile and the fact that there was practically no money left, they cooked it for 5 €. Pizza is baked in ovens. Again, only men. Have fun. Laughed a lot. We discussed the trip. Was good. Well, here's the flight. One of the ladies turned out to have an overweight of as much as 5 kilos, but after persuading the girl who issued the tickets a little, she did not pay for this overweight. We didn't have an overweight. We waited a long time for the plane. He was detained for an hour. But in the end, everything ended well. Arrived like at 5 am. We got to the car. I had to pay extra 70 for an extra night that the car was in the parking lot and here we are at home .... The result is unforgettable impressions and good memories.
