Is it possible for a normal person who came to Italy for twenty days to do nothing for one day? We thought it was possible and started fooling around - walked around the farm, took a swim in the pool twice, looked at how our hospitable hosts work, cleaned the room, put things in order and realized that something was tormenting us. It turned out that this is conscience, the same one that either forces or forbids all my life... And if after many years the descendants ask what I was doing in Italy in Tuscany in the province of Pisa in the commune of Pomarance on August 7.2019, I will have nothing to answer them .
About 6.000 people live in Pomarancha, and only 1.000 people live in neighboring (2 km to the south) Lorderello. And these seven thousand people serve (not all, of course) geothermal power plants that produce almost 10% of the world's geothermal electricity.
Impressive? The world's first geothermal power plant was built here in Lorderello, nestled modestly in the valley.

Then the idea came to study local supermercato, because soon I had to cook on my own, and therefore buy products, I wanted to study the assortment, quality and prices. So we went to Pomarance where there was a rather large COOP. . .
. . . and a few smaller stores including fruit and vegetables. Everything was closed, visited a pizzeria - they know how to do it,
We credited two pieces, decided to park the car and take a walk around the city. After driving through the streets of three hundred meters, from afar we saw the flag. . .
. . . one half of which was yellow, the other blue - ours, Ukrainian, they began under it, considering it a sign, although real signs “did not advise” to do this.
However, he did not take a place for the disabled. Here is what we saw without going into any details:

By 16.00 we went to the COOP supermarket, everything looks like Silpo, Auchan, but the content is completely different. Prices below Kyiv for juices, cheeses, sausages, prosciutto, confectionery. Meat from 5 to 12 euros / kg, milk - 1.1 euros / liter. The quality of everything is such that you can take it with your eyes closed. There is no buckwheat, but there is a mixture of buckwheat, white and black rice - one and a half euros per kilo. They bought something (juice and water for sure), the main thing was that they realized that they could cook on their own, if there were conditions.
