We rested in a group of 15 people from 4 to 18 August 2012 at the Silvano Hotel in Diana Marino. We were accommodated quickly, the food was good, the restaurant staff were friendly. Everything else is horror! We occupied 8 rooms. On the first night in one of the rooms, stale, rumpled bedding with yellow stains was found, as if someone had recently slept on it or had sex. The hotel staff replied that the spots are such a pattern of linen. In the same room (premium! ) air conditioner leaked at night. The receptionist replied that there was nothing that could be done. People were wiping puddles in the room with towels all night. They were afraid to sleep on dirty linen, it was a sleepless, “fun” night. The sitz bath was leaking in another room, they also mopped up puddles all night.
In 2 premium rooms out of 8, air conditioners cost 5 euros per day, turned on only for a short time, and immediately turned off, saving electricity. Noise from the road, heat, closeness, exhaust gases forced people to close the windows, and the air conditioners did not work! Tourists several times a day went to the reception with a request to turn it on.
The Hotel Silvano in Diana Marino is a real walk-through! The keys to all rooms hang in the public domain for anyone, the receptionists are often not on site, you have to ring the bell for a long time, attracting their attention. There are no security cameras at all, any thief can easily enter the hotel unnoticed, take any key and go to rummage around the rooms. Safes for storing money are located in the back room, which no one is watching, but there is an open door to the street, any thief can also go here unnoticed.
Our group of 15 people consisted of teachers, mostly of retirement age, who behaved intelligently, despite this, there was a biased attitude towards us from the administration of the Silvano Hotel in Diana Marino. The receptionist - Monica offered us sunbathing in the park located next to the hotel, she gave us a group discount - 3 euros per day per person (instead of 5). After 2 days, we were persecuted by the hotel administrator, she accused us of paying for 2 places, and taking 15 places in this kindergarten, although we had receipts for the full payment of 15 places. After that, we began to pay 5 euros per person, and the administrator personally escorted us to our sunbeds (chairs), after which it turned out that this place had already been booked by other tourists, and our things were dumped on the floor! Instead of sunbathing and swimming, we ran to find out why 1 sunbed is sold twice.
The receptionist shrugged her shoulders at this and said that she did not know what to do. After that, half of the group stopped going to this garden and had a great rest on the beach, sitting for free on large flat stones. We really liked the beach, suitable for children and adults, the gently sloping bottom gradually deepens. The territory of our beach was separated by huge boulders from the open sea, they protected from high waves. On the 10th day of vacation we were robbed. Returning from a walk in the evening, we could not open our room with a key, we turned to a new receptionist who started work today, August 14, he opened our room with a master key, looked inside and immediately jumped out. We entered the room and found that all the drawers were pulled out, the cabinets were open, the suitcases were turned upside down. All our things were lying on the beds, cosmetic bags were shaken out, thieves were looking for the key to the safe and money. Things, including new purchases, were untouched.
Thank God, we carried the key to the safe with us, but 12 thousand rubles (300 euros) were missing from the room! Since the whole group of 15 people returned from the walk at the same time, they heard our indignation and filmed the mess on cameras. Together we asked the hotel worker to contact the police, he waved his hands in fright and asked not to go there. The administrator on the phone ordered him to deny everything. We asked to call the representative of the tour operator - Pak-group, he dialed the number and said that the subscriber was not available. We called ourselves from a mobile phone and asked the guide to call the hotel back, the receptionist picked up the phone, talked to the guide for a long time, accusing us of having such a mess all the time, although he works the first day (how does he know what is in our room? )! After much begging, he nevertheless gave us the phone, we told the situation to the guide and asked what we should do.
The guide promised to call us back in 5 minutes in order to have time to contact higher organizations to resolve the issue. The receptionist turned off the phone on the order of the administrator, and we were waiting for a call. In the morning we went to the police with a representative of Pak-Group. The receptionist of the Silvano hotel in Diana Marino stated that the security cameras did not show a break-in, although there are no security cameras in the hotel! ! ! The administrator of the Silvano Hotel in Diana Marino insisted that we not accept a statement about theft, stating that we did not lose money, and we have such a mess every day. With the support of the Pak-group guide, the statement was nevertheless made up. The hotel staff did not apologize to us, the doors were still wide open, there were no employees at the reception in the evenings, and the keys also hung in a conspicuous place - “welcome, thieves! » It is also worth noting that the cleaning lady left the balcony doors open, but they did not latch shut.
