The hotel is average. There are both pros and cons. Of the advantages - the first line, renovated rooms, excellent dinners.
The biggest disadvantage is the attitude towards Russian tourists. Of course, I understand that our compatriots tried their best to spoil the impression of themselves, but it’s very disappointing when you are on a long-awaited vacation constantly in some kind of struggle for what you paid for. So, the room that we paid for (a room with a balcony) was knocked out for 2 days. Sun loungers were allocated to us across the road from the sea (this despite the fact that we were with a small child) and it was 200 meters from the sea. We had to sunbathe on the sand near the sea so as not to drag the child back and forth. The service at the hotel was rude, so when we somehow did not want to order drinks at dinner, the aunt - the waitress showed such displeasure, as if we had personally insulted her.
Perhaps this is the trouble of Lido de Isolo and the season (we were in July and the number of vacationers went off scale). Not so elsewhere in Italy. And the Italians are wonderful, hospitable people (as we imagined before the trip). But after this holiday spoiled by the ITALIANS, I still don’t want to return to this country.

P. S. From observations
1) If you are flying on a Russian charter and through Trieste, and besides, you hope to get tax free at the airport, you need to, forgetting about self-respect, be the first to run out of the bus and take the queue. There are a number of reasons for this: firstly, the queue is Russian and huge, which lives according to the laws "man is an enemy to man", and secondly, the Italians MAXIMUM delay the procedure, demand to show clothes, leave and come, and therefore part of the queue (I would said, the end of the queue) does not have time to issue tax free and fly away with nothing.
2) About the crisis in Europe.
The regulars of the cafe in the Lido in the evenings were mostly Italians. The Germans, on the other hand, bought mostly pizza in the cheapest shop. Attention to the question: which of the countries feeds the whole of Europe?
