Так себе... So-so...

Were in Italy from July 29 to August 11.2007. The first week - the tour "Classic Italy" - just super!! ! The second week - rest in Lido di Jesolo at the hotel HERON *** (pronounced as "Eron", but it's more correct to pronounce "HERON", the name justifies itself : -) ). We arrived at 2 pm, but the room (122, on the second floor overlooking the sea) was not cleaned, we waited until 4 pm, in response to our claims, they took away the keys and offered to "walk somewhere for a couple of hours", this is after a six-hour bus ride in an unfamiliar city! From the pros: a good pool, although I swam only twice, sunbeds near it are paid; free sunbeds and umbrellas by the sea, nice, clean sandy beach; cool bar on the beach (grab a spritz cocktail); the food at the hotel was good and varied enough (you are in Italy, so get used to eating only national dishes for the rest, who loves shish kebab - go to Sochi! ). ROOMS in the hotel are simply KILLED!! ! the doors are rotten and they didn’t even try to repair them, the shower is a hole in the floor, bathtubs are only in the rooms on the top floor, the walls are just white as in a durnichka, the frames are old wooden and rotten, they don’t close. though the rooms look like new furniture, but the cheapest, the beds are separate, there are no double beds, they are constantly moved apart at night (who sleeps separately with his wife, he will like it : -), but I constantly woke up, as a result, we slept on the same lorry). There are crumbling dirty-blue sofas in the hall and some rags on the floor that could be seen as carpets fifty years ago. But it is located next to the water park and close to the center. I would still choose another hotel next time and better 4 stars, for example Europe or Florida, which are located nearby, my friends were happy with them. Nothing can spoil the impressions of a holiday in Italy if you are not a bore! We will definitely go there again!
