Advantages: fairly spacious rooms, fresh linen, good housekeeping, modern serviceable plumbing, hearty delicious breakfasts, location in the heart of Milan (5 minutes walk to the Duomo and Palazzo Reale).
Disadvantages: constant strong street noise outside the windows from the very early morning, even on the upper floors, which neither modern double-glazed windows nor automatic blinds are able to drown out; metal parts of the doors and elevator buttons that are painfully beating with current (I clarify in advance that the matter is not in the clothes of the guests, but in the features of hotel grounding, since in other places and hotels these same guests did not have such natural surprises in the same clothes).
As a result, we get a wonderful hotel for those who like to live comfortably in the historical center of the city, but for some reason are not going to spend nights at the hotel. I advise the rest to either look for another hotel in the neighborhood, or stock up on quality earplugs (earplugs).
