Was on a sightseeing trip from 02.01. 13 to 09.01. 13 in Italy. On January 07.2013 we were brought to this hotel to spend the night and the next day we left after breakfast. Which makes me unspeakably happy. The fact is that we arrived late in the evening, traveled for several hours by bus, were very tired, and instead of hospitable staff, we saw a negative attitude towards the Russians. Let me explain: since this is January, the weather drops to +4 in the evening, although during the day it can be +10 + 14. When we were given the key to the room, of course, we immediately went in and started looking where, what was in the room, and since it was cold, we started looking for the air conditioner remote control, but alas. . . in the room where the light turns on, there was another switch nearby, after pressing it, we realized that there was a "remote" from the air conditioner, that is, on. and off. and ALL. We went down to the reception to say that the room was very cold. After that, a sitting man next to the reception jumped up, asked us for the key to the room and ran, we barely kept up with him. He ran in and began to show that it was necessary to unscrew the valve in the battery, that the air conditioner was working in the cold and that the battery in the shower room actually heats up (a tiny one that does not even heat the shower room), after which he pounded on the closet in the room with his fist and turned to the hotel staff (to the girl) who also went with us said "Russo" (Russian). Without translation, one could understand what it meant. I was disgusted, from the realization of what he had the moral right to insult and treat like that and because of what, he didn’t say and didn’t show us that we were such stupid fools that we didn’t guess where everything was included, namely the Russians . Imagine, all over the world, the air conditioner works from the remote control and turns on for heating, but we are so stupid that we didn’t understand that this switch is called a remote control, that some kind of valve must be turned to make it warm. Sorry, but I'm not a plumber to know such things. All in all, the evening was ruined. With everything else, we still paid tax for spending the night in this hotel. The food for breakfast the next morning was disgusting, people who came 15 minutes later than the rest saw empty dishes instead of breakfast and they hardly begged the waiter to bring coffee and milk. If you go or will be passing through Montecatini, I advise you to bypass this hotel. Disgusting attitude towards "Russians".
