Why do I immediately cling to the stars. The fact is that a tax was recently introduced in Rome. for 4* - 6 euro
for 3* - 4 euros.
It's in Rome! In other cities - other rates accepted by the municipality, in some they simply do not exist.
So, given that this is a 4 * hotel, then for + 6 euros additional I still wanted more service. I'm not talking about the rooftop pool, I'm talking about the same wi-fi. I just had to stomp to the Mediterraneo hotel at night : -) it's excellent and free.
And yes - a good location, a quiet street, close to cafes, shops, a supermarket, railway station and metro.
The hotel belongs to the same chain as LUX 4*, Rome. Therefore, everything in it is painfully familiar: burnt bedspreads, one socket... But in the shower there is where to put appliances, EVERYTHING towels and there is no bathrobe. The single room is small but cozy. In my case - there was a balcony : -)
For EARLY MORNING departure: If you ordered a lunch box, then you must say so. The fact is that your lunch box is at the reception, but they will give it only if you ask. There will be no initiative on their part.

After reading the reviews of the hotels, we decided to choose this hotel. Good location, quiet street, close to cafes, shops, supermarket, railway station and metro. refrigerator. There is no balcony. We lived for three days, a normal three-ruble note. There are no complaints. The breakfast is usual for Europe, it is located very conveniently. … More ▾ We lived for three days, a normal three-ruble note. There are no complaints. The breakfast is usual for Europe, it is located very conveniently.

location is perfect! breakfasts are tolerable, but for those who are used to having breakfast with borscht and herring, they won’t like it. TV with 3 Russian channels. clean, housekeeping is normal. Internet in the lobby, but worked only 1 day. sockets in the room are only for thin plugs, adapters in stores are 5-20 euros, so it’s better to take it from home, there are sockets in the hall for all types of plugs. they could not get an iron, it generally became a problem. There are no Russian speaking staff. the hotel is quiet, calm at night. air conditioning, safe, refrigerator.

The hotel is decent. Yes, the rooms are small. But you didn’t come there to celebrate a celebration in order to complain about the size of the room. TV, telephone, safe - all available and in good condition. Nothing was hidden in the safe, money and documents were in a conspicuous place. The bathroom is the size of a room. Our windows overlooked the patio (more precisely, a balcony-gallery, through which you could get into the room to the neighbors, if they called to visit) The food is excellent. By the way, no one whined or lamented about the lack of cutlets or borscht for breakfast at 7 in the morning (I had a case in Paris when fat aunts at breakfast whined that there was no decent food, in the sense of cutlets and borscht). And the location of the hotel is the best. There are no beggars and homeless people, despite the presence of the railway station. All sights can be reached on foot. The only negative of the hotel (ha ha ha) - audibility. If you make love, then the whole floor hears it all, but does not see it.
At the reception there are Russian-speaking girls from Hochland (and where without them). So feel free to book this hotel and don't be afraid to make a mistake! Everyone happy to relax!

Stayed at Luce Hotel for 8 days. I liked it very much. The rooms are small but cozy. Good furniture, beautiful bedspreads and curtains. New plumbing: sink, shower, toilet, bidet. Everything is fine. There is a hair dryer. Every day - new soaps, shampoo / shower gel, shower cap. The towels were changed, it seems, every day, I don’t remember the linen after how much (probably after two or three days). … More ▾ Stayed at Luce Hotel for 8 days. I liked it very much. Every day - new soaps, shampoo / shower gel, shower cap. The towels were changed, it seems, every day, I don’t remember the linen after how much (probably after two or three days). Safe in the room. The hotel appears to have recently been refurbished. The breakfasts are very good, great variety: cheese, two types of ham, sausage-servalat, muesli, cereals, rolls, croissants, two types of cake, two types of cake, fruit, jam, butter, nut paste, tea, coffee (coffee machine). This whole set was present every day, everything is fresh. And the plates were constantly replenished. One of the porters speaks Russian, the rest speaks English (if you wish, in Italian). Two elevators - no need to drag things to the top. There is a luggage room (before departure). The street is 2 minutes from the train station and Termini metro station, but since it is side, there is no noise or hustle. It is very convenient to go through the side entrance of the station. There is a small shop next to the hotel, where we always bought fruit and water (the prices are lower than in one of the other shops somewhere nearby, but we didn’t compare it with anything else). There is a large supermarket in Termini where, among other things (including wine, olive oil, etc. ), you can buy hot food and salads in containers - I didn’t like it, but people actively grabbed these containers - they taste and color …Restaurants nearby were not explored, because they ate in restaurants either in the city center or where they went. But offhand there are a lot of cafes. As a result, I can say that Luce suited us in all respects.

Quite a cozy hotel, a small standard for the center of a European city. We lived there for 7 days with a friend at the end of April. It is conveniently located - close to the central metro station, from where it is easy to get to anywhere in the city. At first, you can get lost around the hotel, because there are very similar streets with similar hotels (we did a couple of extra circles the first day). … More ▾ Quite a cozy hotel, a small standard for the center of a European city. At first, you can get lost around the hotel, because there are very similar streets with similar hotels (we did a couple of extra circles the first day).
There are several cafes and shops nearby, we did not feel a shortage of provisions. The food is not very good, the breakfasts are rather weak (muesli, cereals, a couple of types of ham and cheese, pastries, yogurt, juices, tea and coffee)
Cons: very cold floors, you don't walk barefoot. Another minus (for young people hanging out) the hotel is closed from 2 a. m. to 5 a. m. , so if you go out at night, consider this circumstance. There was no noise at night, and there was no particular stink either.
Good hotel for the money (depending on needs)

Luce is a standard European three-star hotel. Uncomfortable from the tightness in the corridors and in the room, from the meager and tasteless breakfast, and even more - from the proximity of Termini station. Uncomfortable from the tightness in the corridors and in the room, from the meager and tasteless breakfast, and even more - from the proximity of Termini station. A dirty street, a lot of beggars and homeless people, the eternal yelling of Chinese and Indian merchants under the window until midnight. But a five-minute walk begins Ancient Rome, the Baths of Caracalla - and you forget about these little inconveniences instantly... If you come to Rome, it’s not a fig to stay in a hotel!
