Torino is a hotel of the Leonardi hotels system. Indeed, the hotel's convenient location (a 5-minute walk from the train station) is its main plus, in my opinion. And, perhaps, the only one. Yes, the staff is friendly and speaks good English. BUT: my room was shabby, clearly in need of repair (on the 5th floor, maybe someone had better rooms? ), certainly not 4 stars. Yes, in the pluses you need to write down the fact that the bathroom was in the room, but on the floor and not shared by 2-3 rooms! I continue BUT: like 4 years ago, also in a 4-star hotel, the water in the shower did not drain, the cabin doors did not close, and, as a result, while taking a shower, the entire floor in the bathroom was covered with a layer of water, taps flowed. Bed linen - torn, just holes from old age. The room (although non-smoking) was stinky, stagnant, musty, damp.... Breakfast is a buffet, but when you get instant coffee for breakfast in Italy in a 4-star hotel, this is nonsense! Yes, on the street in any cafe you will be brewed amazing fragrant delicious coffee! And all this costs decent money per night! (with a discount of more than 100 euros!!! ). This is a description of a 4 star hotel, what then to say about 3 and 2 star hotels - it sucks! Personally, I have only one conclusion: you need to stay in hotels of well-known chains, such as Accor. These adhere to their own internal standards, and if 3 stars, then this is the level and service is really 3 stars, and nothing less. Good luck everyone!
