We stayed at the Villa Maria Regina hotel for the first 3 days in Rome of a week-long sightseeing tour of Italy. The hotel is located in a beautiful green area in the north of Rome among small and huge private villas of non-poor Italians, the territory is very picturesque, the hotel is buried in the greenery of the garden, clean air, birds singing in the morning…
The room is spacious, although there were three of us, the furniture is good, a large bathroom with new plumbing, a free code safe in the room, cleaning every day, everything is on the level, we were only at breakfast, we liked everything, especially delicious coffee for every taste in any quantities from a huge coffee machine (no other hotel had this).
And now about one, but a very big minus of this hotel, its location relative to the historical center of the city. It takes about an hour to get from Termini Station to the hotel by 2 buses with a change in about an hour, by taxi, of course, faster, but already 15-17 euros. Nearby there is not a single shop, not a single cafe, only villas behind fences. Therefore, I recommend this wonderful hotel to those who travel independently by car or rent a car, there is a large parking lot on site.
