The four of us rested with friends for 2 weeks in Rimini in September 2013 at the Club House Hotel. The weather was good, it was possible to swim, but, of course, it was already not hot. Rimini is a nice little town. To the old city from the hotel - 20 minutes on foot, be sure to go, you won't regret it.
The beach from the hotel is across the road (I understand that in Rimini all hotels are located in this way), the beach is clean, sandy. The sea is not deep, diving enthusiasts will not like it. Sun loungers cost 15 euros (2 sun loungers and an umbrella), it’s not customary to sunbathe here on towels like in Spain, I don’t know if you will be kicked out or not, but we didn’t take risks))
The hotel is excellent, the rooms are small, true, but everything is very clean, new furniture and plumbing. Cleaned well, nice girls at the reception, trying to speak Russian. We arrived in the morning (around 10), settled us after 12, upon check-in they take a deposit of 100 euros and upon check-out the accommodation tax is deducted from this amount. The breakfasts are very good, everything has cereals, yoghurts, ham, omelettes, etc. We dined and dined in restaurants, everything is very tasty, especially the fish)) Opposite the hotel there is a large Konad supermarket, where you can buy food and all sorts of Italian chocolates at home and quite inexpensively.

Excursions. We were in Italy for the first time, so, of course, I wanted to see not only the sea in Rimini. But on the advice of friends, they did not take excursions on large buses from the operator. From Moscow, we contacted the organizer of excursions in Rimini Alexander, he organizes excursions from Rimini by minibuses. We booked trips with him in advance, on the day of arrival Alexander drove up to our hotel, told us in detail about the excursions, helped us navigate the city on the first day (he told us what, where and how). We went to Rome, Florence, Venice and San Marino - everything is very well organized, the drivers are punctual, the tours were held with headphones, i. e. it was possible to turn around, move away, take pictures, the guides were also on the level, we always returned early (at about 7 pm). About the city you need to write separately, impressions, of course, the sea. I liked everywhere))
Shopping also went to the mandatory program, because we are in Italy)). In the shops along the sea and near the hotel, you will find a number of something worthy, mostly Chinese junk (they also sell it). We booked a shopping tour with our tour organizer Alexander in the Marche region, there are many shoe factories and a clothing outlet. We went individually, it cost us 30 euros (from everyone) more expensive, but we didn’t depend on anyone. There are not just a lot of shoes in factories, there are very, very many of them. There was plenty to choose from, there were even discounts, everywhere in different ways, somewhere 30, somewhere 70%. In general, you need to be very capricious not to find boots and shoes there. Prices, even without a sale, as you understand, are several times lower than in Moscow. Also in San Marino you can buy branded glasses and bags, there are a lot of them, there are very decent bags, and there is junk, of course.
In general, we liked everything, the hotel is a solid 4 ku. Shopping was also a success, I had to pay for the "overweight" at the airport)))
