Curious tourists who plan not only to lie on the beach, but also to travel a LOT around the cities of Italy, it is best to choose the central part of it, the Marina Centro area, as their place of deployment in Rimini. It is in it that the Villa Itala is located, where my colleague and I had a chance to visit in the spring as part of the excursion tour Acquaintance with Italy.
Let's say right away that the hotel is located on a quiet street, about 400 meters from the sea. Opposite is the Bambi Hotel, once popular with our shop-tourists. Nearby is a pretty Fellini square, as well as a bus stop (number 11), where a group usually gathers for excursions. To the historical center of Rimini - 15 minutes on foot, to the railway station, from where you can go by train to various cities of Italy, and even less - 10-12 minutes.
The hotel is certainly modest, but cozy and clean. The rooms are small, however, they have all the amenities. Cleaning every day, a small tip, of course, does not hurt at all.

Breakfasts are "continental", no frills, but dinners are very "voluminous" and satisfying. In addition to appetizers, there are certainly two dishes to choose from: soup or pasta, meat or fish.
The hotel staff is friendly, there is a Russian-speaking girl Lena. She, definitely, a special thank you for your attention to our tourists!
It is worth noting that in all hotels in Rimini a so-called resort tax is charged. For "Villa Itala" it is 0.5 euros per night.
In our opinion, "Villa Itala" is a good option for inquisitive and not too fastidious tourists. Provided, of course, a reasonable cost. In the spring of 2014, she was quite humane, so this hotel suited us perfectly. And even more than! . .
