Hotel Perla 3* in Riccione
If someone just wants to hear advice, then I do not recommend this hotel, And who cares why? Read below
Were in Italy from 05.05. 2007 to 12.05. 2007. We chose the Perla 3 * hotel, not because we were looking for an economy class, the PAC Group company wrote about it painfully well and it was beautifully presented on the site.
About PAC Group: Tickets were bought from PAC Group, documents were received at the airport before departure. We flew with Vim avia, there were no delays. Then it got worse... Upon arrival, we were met by a guide, put on a bus and drove for an hour, instead of a ten-minute drive, for some reason we went through Rimini, although more people had to be transported there. In Riccione, only we lived, and in Rimini there were 5 hotels in which it was necessary to bring people. But that's not the worst thing. . . We didn't even suspect what would happen next. . . We paid extra 116 euros to PAC Group for a comfortable room, for which we were promised: fruit upon arrival; bathrobes; beach towels and wine at dinner. WE DID NOT FIND ALL OF THIS "ABANDONANCE"!
Having gone down to the reception, we asked (my friend speaks in the original language) - “why is this not there? ” We were twirled at the weight and began to poke into the prospectus, what is it for completely different money and that we can still pay extra for all this !!!
Then we began to call the representative of the PAC Group in Italy, we were told that everything had to be decided in Moscow, and in Moscow Sat. day off, like in Italy. As practice later showed, representatives neither in Moscow nor in Italy need us with our problems.
On the fourth day, we were nevertheless moved to another room, which we accidentally saw during cleaning and it somehow corresponded to the description. But it took me 150 euros, which I spent on telephone conversations in which they tried to “put me in my place” and a lot of nerves.
I recommend hotels in Riccione: Villa Mare3 * super, Majorca 3 * normal clean hotels with friendly staff. We would love to relocate. them.
About the Hotel: We, like everyone else, were thrown out of the bus in front of the old collapsing building - the hotel, my first thought was that they were mixed up! , since the hotel did not at all correspond to the photos that were posted on the PAC Group website and on the website of the hotel itself. Going into the hotel lobby, we were even more disappointed, it smelled very, very bad and, frankly, it was dirty and not comfortable. We were decorated by a man dressed in a sports suit, far from being friendly, and a grandmother of about seventy in old tights and a down blouse, who was present there throughout our stay, walked around the hall and cursed loudly (or just said and grumbled).
Then we were given the keys to room No. 60 and we began to go upstairs, tried to do it on the elevator, but more than one suitcase and one person did not fit in this elevator, so we went up in turn. Having opened the door of the room, we saw a small room (I was counting on this, because it was not the first time in Italy and I know that the rooms are small). The walls were anointed (not even whitewashed, but simply smeared with smears of smears) with white paint and wallpaper was glued in places, apparently for beauty, or, as they say, decorated in Mediterranean colors. This color is purple! The beds were covered with creepy blue bedspreads. And in the corner there was a sofa - this is, as it were, another bunk place. But only a small man can sleep on it. The balcony overlooked the backyard, on the roof of the kitchen, where the extractor fan roared all the time. It was a terrible number!
But this is all personal, but in fact....
In fact: the hotel is located far from the center (with a quick step of 20 minutes), we did not find terrible rooms, exercise equipment, a jacuzzi and sauna in 7 days of stay, the solarium on the roof was not prepared for the season and it was impossible to sunbathe there, and it was everything is as gray and shabby as everywhere else. Nothing to do with the photos, once again I repeat!
The only plus of the hotel was tolerable food for dinner, breakfasts were poor. And if you want to get some sleep in the morning, you will probably be left without an omelet, and this is the only hot dish for breakfast.
But in general, Italy is worth a trip! And in May you can already sunbathe and swim.
