Rested in August 2012 with a group. The hotel is not the worst outwardly, but it is far from 4 stars: refrigerators have already been mentioned, telephones in the rooms do not work, room cleaning leaves much to be desired, and restaurant service and food is a separate article! For a week we did not see a single croissant, the same (in the literal sense of the word) hard rolls were given to us 3 times a day every day. … More ▾ Rested in August 2012 with a group. The hotel is not the worst outwardly, but it is far from 4 stars: refrigerators have already been mentioned, telephones in the rooms do not work, room cleaning leaves much to be desired, and restaurant service and food is a separate article! For a week we did not see a single croissant, the same (in the literal sense of the word) hard rolls were given to us 3 times a day every day. We waited for the waiters for 30-40 minutes with each dish, they were rude, snorted, grimaced and just scoffed. The menu is very meager, from the buffet one herb and tomatoes, desserts are the same every day and absolutely none. Before leaving, it turned out that each of us was assigned something to the room (a couple of extra bottles of water or 500 grams of wine). Dear compatriots, if you want to have a good and peaceful rest. Certainly not in this hotel!

But suddenly a third young nervous bald waiter, speaking in Italian, ran up and started shouting: “Finisch”!! ! His whole behavior was filled with such bile, as if before him were not clients, but enemies. He behaved incorrectly, waved his arms, shouted, and his face was so angry. Of the three waiters, two behaved correctly, and this bald man served Russian tourists with such dislike that we got sick of having dinner. He is probably out of place, hates his job. We could not bear such humiliation of our dignity. And we refused a three-course dinner, although everything was paid for. And we didn't even go to breakfast. And not in vain, as our tourists later told us: the servants dumped a handful of buns on a plate and watched from the side as these buns would be snapped up by tourists, because there wouldn’t be enough for everyone. Others, who did not want to "fight" for a piece of bread, the tourists turned with angry appeals to the guide, to the waiters, but in the end they remained hungry.
We have never seen such rudeness of service personnel in hotels in Europe.
So one person did everything so that we put the Remin Plaza Hotel on the black list for ourselves.

I lost a lot of time in vain, because - as I rested for the first time, I don’t know places and languages. (I had to ask Italians and tourists for a long time what, where to be and how to get there). Later, on the advice of tourists, I found Victor, he is just doing excursions.
I went with him to Venice, to San Marino and visited Pisa-Florence (for one price) on his personal bus. The bus is cozy, small, there are few people, you can look at everything and ask questions, there is air conditioning in the cabin, in general, it’s not bad, and the prices are real. If I had known about it earlier, I would have done more.

I was also struck by San Marino. The city resembles a big market. A lot of people, the truth and an abundance of goods for every taste.
Of course I liked Italy, but next time I will go through another tour operator.
