We stayed in the first half of September. The hotel is located in the lively Miramare district, surrounded by private shops, stores, and cafes, with a promenade and beach at the rear.
How to get there: It's a long way from the train station. Take bus #11 (stop 31 Oliveti, go back in the direction of travel and through the underpass) or the high-speed Metromare trolleybus (stop Miramare Station, go through the underpass to the sea for 500 meters and cross the road to the right). Tickets: from vending machines or on board with a card validator (select a zone, wait for the sound). A taxi from the station costs about 25 euros with a meter and card payment.
Neighborhood and beach: Three blocks away is a small COOP store with reasonable prices (CONAD, however, is even cheaper). Bike rentals are nearby (5 euros for 5 hours, ID and card required). A travel agency with Russian-language tours is 80-100 meters to the right. The hotel has its own beach area (vouchers are issued at reception). The free zone is between areas 139 and 140, for example, and within a 10-meter coastal zone. The entrance to the sea is very shallow, and the bottom is sandy.

Room: We stayed on the 6th floor (standard with a balcony and sea view). There's a safe, a large TV (65 channels, but HDMI connection wasn't possible), and a refrigerator with a refillable minibar (water, 0.33 beer, soda). The outlets are Italian-style, with three plugs (a European plug won't fit, but thin chargers fit in the outer ones). Cons for a 4-star hotel: no kettle or toothbrushes. Cleaning is daily.
Food and Spa: Restaurant on the 1st floor, assigned tables. The buffet is modest, but delicious. Breakfasts are monotonous (omelettes, cold cuts, poached/boiled eggs, cold pastries, scant cheese, coffee made to order). Drinks (except water and cheap wine) are extra for lunch and dinner, and soup is only available in the evenings. Most guests are pensioners. The spa complex is excellent: a dry sauna (110°C, no water on the rocks), a Turkish bath, and an indoor pool (12x5 m). Bathrobes are provided in the room. The downsides of the spa include no outdoor pool and no hot water in the showers.

Bottom Line: Convenient location, friendly, accessible, and competent reception (including Russian-speaking staff), and good housekeeping. Smoking is allowed on the balconies and on the beach.
