We rested at the Brucoli Village hotel from 13.07 to 24.07, 2009. The hotel as a whole was very pleasant. Now I would like to tell you more about it:
1. The rooms are quite original and beautiful, but the shower is in the room. Cleaned and change towels daily.
2. The food is very good. A wide variety of different dishes: meat, seafood, a large selection of pasta, vegetables, fruits, sweets. There are themed dinners. Every Thursday is a farewell dinner. Red, white wine and ordinary water are offered unlimited. Most vacationers pour bottles of water in a restaurant so as not to buy it at a bar for money. We also constantly took fruit with us, which the restaurant administration does not interfere with. If you are late for breakfast, lunch or dinner, the restaurant administration is always ready to feed those who are late. When guided tours are held, the restaurant opens much earlier.

We arrived in Catania quite late, and we ended up at the hotel only after 00.00, but a table was waiting for us in the restaurant))
3. The territory of the hotel is very large, well-groomed and green. There is a bar, an amphitheater where evening shows are held, two swimming pools (large and children's), etc.
4. The hotel's beach is very long, so there is practically no large crowd of people in one place. There is no need to take a sunbed in advance, there are too many of them. The entrance to the sea is equipped with stairs. This is quite convenient, but sea urchins are often found near the stairs and at the bottom, which can hurt your leg, so it's better to swim in swimming slippers. Also, vacationers can use kayaks, canoes and sailboats for free throughout the day.
5. The staff is very friendly but mostly speaks only Italian and French. They speak English at the reception, but this did not bother us at all, because. can be explained without any problem. On the way to the beach at the tourist office there is a Russian-speaking operator Christina, with whom you can discuss all your questions. Also there you can get maps of all nearby cities and bus schedules.
6. Transport communication. Getting to the settlements is not very difficult. The village of Bruccoli can be reached on foot or by boat (2 euros - round trip). From Bruccoli to Augusta can be reached in 15 minutes by bus (1.5 euros - round trip). From Augusta there is a bus to Syracuse and Catania. It is very convenient to rent a car, because. the distance between the cities is not large enough, moreover, the hotel is located close enough to all major tourist centers (about 30-60 minutes).

7. As for excursions, the hotel provides them only in Italian and French, because There are very few Russians in the hotel (when we were there there were only 11 people). You can contact the offices in Taormina, but you need to get to the place of Russian-speaking excursions on your own. From the hotel we went on an excursion to Etna. I liked it, despite the fact that the guide spoke only Italian and French. On Etna itself, the guides speak English, French, Italian and German.
8. Animation is good, unobtrusive. All performances are in Italian and French. Quite interesting, funny and varied performances.
The rest at the hotel was wonderful, except for the work of the Moscow tour operator "TRIS-T", which did not inform the Italian side about our arrival. Therefore, we had to get from the airport by taxi, instead of the transfer we paid for. After lengthy negotiations before departure, the tour operator managed to send information to the Italian company on the last evening, and the transfer was provided.
I really liked the hotel. Would love to come again!
ALL SUCCESSFUL REST!!!!! !
