I did not participate in the choice of the hotel, our friends did everything. We have the same tastes, it's not the first time we fly together. My wife and I got the organizational part of the trip. Or rather wife)) So, it was decided, San Felice Circeo, Punta Rossa. How to get there? Two options to fly: 1. ROME, 2. Naples. It seems, looking at the map, the distance of San Felice Circeo is the same, judging by the kilometers, from the airports, just between Rome and Naples. As stated 100 km to Rome, 100 km to Naples. There were practically no tickets, there were offers from Aeroflot, somewhere for 30.000. 00 rubles with a stopover in Rome, and an offer from VIM-Avia for 19.000. 00 with the final destination, Naples. We chose Naples, we refused the transfer, because the transfer to this hotel cost 600 euros. And why is it necessary? ) We decided to rent a car, it turned out for the same money in Europcar (Mercedes C class). Arrived in Naples, without delay, thanks to Vim-Avia). At the local airport, luggage was waiting for 1.5 hours, and not only our flight.
The French and Germans were waiting the same way. There is no airport service, no one is in a hurry. This is generally a national trait of southern Italians. Then we stood in line at the rental office, 40 minutes, there are a lot of tourists, so the Italian holidays went in August. We set up the navigator and go. Looking ahead, I’ll say that without a navigator it would be impossible to get to the hotel, it is located on a mountain and in Italian it sounds like “Red End”))). We got to the hotel, probably, for 4 hours, considering the area and stopping for a bite to eat at AUTOGRILL, where you can eat normally on the way. We got to the hotel, there were no parking places nearby, but it was Saturday, as it turned out later, Italians come there to hang out for the weekend.
When registering with a Russian girl Katya, they gave the keys to some peasant from the staff, who introduced himself as "the best valet of all car models") The hotel, as we later decided, was not built specially, but was successfully located in some old building of the Mediterranean buildings, well, they don’t build hotels with walls of 40 centimeters. We had a standard room with a dressing room, there was also a refrigerator and a safe, a TV (not one Russian channel). There are tiles on the floor, walls with a rough finish, semi-vaults, a wrought-iron bed, a wooden lattice in the bathroom, instead of a ceiling, creating the effect of being under the sun, wrought-iron chairs on the balcony. Hot tub combined with shower. A friend and his wife are located nearby, but in a super-suite.

The super-suite is decent, with a hot tub and a shower in different corners of the room, consists of four rooms (one of them is a small bedroom for one) and a terrace of 20 meters, with its sunbeds and umbrellas. All rooms in this hotel have a sea view. The hotel is located in the botanical garden, it's funny, you go down to the sea, 50 meters from the hill, and there are nameplates on the plants). I don't consider myself a botanist, but the bush-sized aloe is impressive. ) There are two ways to go to the sea, at least from our rooms, either by stairs, which is more tiring, or by a winding path with sea pebbles. The beach is not sandy, as stated on the sites, but is located at the foot of the mountain, on a volcanic rock, where the descent into the sea is decorated with a wooden platform with a ladder, like in a pool. Will not work with small children. There are few people, there are always free sunbeds and places, which cannot but rejoice).
I don’t know how deep it is, but you can dive from the platform without any problems. Near the pool with sea water, where just children can splash, and a little upstairs in the thalassotherapy center there is an indoor pool with sea water, with hydromassage. True, the stream of water there is weak. By the sea a bar that transforms by 12 noon into a restaurant with a fixed price of 45 euros per person for lunch. Separately, I will talk about food. Everything is fresh, 90% seafood, which we were very happy about), even oysters were often present. Breakfast is poor, continental. Omelet and boiled eggs are already for a fee. In the evening you can book a table in a restaurant overlooking the sea, the food is delicious. The audience is decent, mostly Italians, some vacationers have their yachts in the roadstead, and for one comrade, in general, a helicopter flew in. The rooms are cleaned normally, daily change of towels and mini-bar.
But you can also eat in the evening in San Felice, there is a seaside restaurant where the yachts are. We also had dinner once in Terracina, on the coast in a semi-glamorous restaurant La Scogliera. Delicious, cheaper than a hotel. Since we had a car and were not constrained in our movements, we arranged for ourselves excursions to Rome and the Vatican, with a guide who was waiting for us there, having previously signed off on an Internet. We also visited Sorrento, from where we got on the ferry in the most beautiful way for 14 euros to the island of Capri with a guide, again ordered from Moscow. In the evening, we had dinner there at the port restaurant Vela Bianca, where a cart with seafood and fish in ice to choose from was brought to the table. One of the best restaurants we have visited during this trip. Although the hotel restaurant is no worse, even the Italian plays the piano and sings lingeringly "O solea ... oh solee myoooo .. ! "
Findings:
1. The hotel is not cheap at all.

For your money, you get silence on the beach, delicious food, the impression that you are in a private house, you will not be offended by attention.
3. Surprisingly gentle and clean sea (there is something to compare with).
4. No sports and entertainment events are held. There is also no kids club. There are massage and spa services.
5. Young people looking for adventure will have nothing to do there in the evenings. And for a relaxing holiday in a pleasant company - the place!
