Stayed because of inexpensive accomodation. I got to the center of Florence and the train station by bus + tram, 1.5 hour ticket is enough for a one-way trip for two transports. The hotel itself does not pull a four, a solid three. The room has a shower, beds, a small LCD TV. If you spend the night, it will do, I do not recommend for a long stay. Food buffet, no frills, but you will not be hungry. Nearby is a huge supermarket with prices for the "local" (not tourist), you can buy quite high-quality products and spirits at a reasonable price. Another minus is that tourist groups often stop at the hotel, two buses with Chinese drove into my visit, with all the ensuing consequences.
