Near the hotel, literally in the neighboring houses are confectionery, bakery, self-service restaurant, Grom gelateria. Everything is within walking distance, no need to waste time and money on transport. The family run Hotel Roma e Rocca Cavour is quite large and has been run by the same family since 1854. It is one of the oldest hotels in Turin, located in an old mansion. There are smoking rooms. Staff - only Italians, which is now quite a rarity. Now in Europe the rooms are cleaned by people from African and Arab countries, however, just like they work in the kitchen. This is important to whom. To me - no. In Brussels, Tunisians were cleaned very cleanly and with high quality. No complaints!
Arrived after lunch and was seated immediately. I booked a single. The number is normal. For one person, it's fine. The doubles are large, I saw during cleaning when the doors were open. The windows of my room overlooked a quiet courtyard-well, very pretty. They burned just killer! It was very nice to return to a warm, warm, cozy room on a cold December evening. The room has everything you need, including a mini-fridge and a bidet (in the bathroom).
Breakfast is very personal. There was an omelet with sausages, but personally I didn’t have enough fresh cucumber-tomatoes for it and pickled olives. But remember, a 3* hotel! But personally, I have enough bread and cheese for breakfast, I always have breakfast like that at home. There were no problems with this. There are 5 varieties of hard cheese alone, 2 varieties of soft, still melted and cheese for toast. The bread is also good, plus all sorts of buns, croissants and other cheesecakes. There is also ham and salami, cereals, dried fruits, nuts, various jams, honey, nutella, orange juice, mineral water, milk, coffee of various types from a cafe machine (good: espresso, ristretto, cappuccino, latte macchiatto, americano, etc. ) ! For dessert - 3 types of pies, apples, tangerines. I ate well!

The staff is attentive. All questions are answered and helpful. The cleaner is the cutest lady! Cleaned up very well! Cleanliness is perfect everywhere. Towels were changed every day.
Wifi is free. The signal is stable, I caught it in my room without interference. The password and nickname are given at the reception at the settlement.
The hotel is aimed at everyone who travels in Italy. The main advantage is the location in the very center, right at the beginning of the main street Via Roma. Just around the corner is the famous Grom Gelateria. For those who love ice cream - heaven! Near the entrance to the hotel there is a patisserie Amore, they have very tasty Canolli con ricotta. I bought 1 kg, asked to freeze for the night, took it in the morning, took it to the house - they didn’t even melt! You just need to order in advance, 2 days before the expected departure. So that they have time to cook and freeze. There is a self-service cafe in the neighboring house. On Monday, almost all restaurants are closed, only there I was able to dine. Very tasty, as it turned out, and cheap. There is also a pizzeria nearby. But I didn't go. It's not scary to come back late at night even alone. The police are constantly running and there are a lot of people.
On the day of departure, I was kindly allowed to stay in the room until 14:00.
I can safely recommend this hotel. Value for money is optimal (Singl Room - 57 Euro / night with breakfast) I did not notice any shortcomings!
