Good day everyone!
After a ten-day stay at this hotel in the first half of January 2104, he considered it his civic duty to share his impressions so that people who plan to spend a ski holiday in the Dolomites do not spoil it.
So let's go.

Hotel location: Terrible. There is probably much worse, but if you are without a car and plan to ride, and not thump for days in a room, then this is definitely not your choice. I explain. The hotel is located away from the main road in the valley, away from all the lifts, and, accordingly, there are two ways to get out of it: 1) by the hotel shuttle bus, which runs, although on schedule, but with huge intervals, not much in all areas skiing in the valley. For example, to get to the Alba zone, you will need to take a transfer to Col Rodella, and then wait for the skibus and take it, and in the evening do everything in reverse order, adjusting to the schedule, or 2) on the ski-bus, which runs from half an hour each way. But! Before the skibus stops, you have to stomp down on foot for about six minutes, back up the hill with skis for about ten minutes, but you need to keep in mind that no one cleans the icy steps there and it’s better for people who are middle-aged or awkward not to go there at all, fractures of the femoral neck are treated for a long time, but bypassing by road - very close.
Parking: there are more or less free street places, apparently depending on the ratio of motorists / others in the hotel, underground is fine and free, but, for a second, 10 Oiro per day : ) . I looked for the Sheraton sign or, at worst, the Hilton, but didn't find it, only Regina e Fassa.
Ski storage: For the second time in my life I see a ski storage without a dryer. "On site you can....and also use a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. " Lie. There is no dryer there, it is only available for rent, it is small, the hotel seats 300 per eye, there are less than fifty seats in the dryer, and it is used naturally for the needs of the rental, and if it remains, we can negotiate. 10 euros per week. But there is a nuance. They open at 8:00 (well, according to the schedule, you know, the Italians - as the distributor arrived, they opened), respectively, if you like to come up the mountain to the first trailer, then again this is not your choice - you won’t have time. Therefore, to dry your shoes, please be kind enough to carry them to your room. And further. We had a thaw (+2 +5), everyone came from skiing, to put it mildly, completely wet, we need to dry a lot of things, but, of course, on the occasion of the thaw, it became warm : ) and the batteries in the rooms were turned off. Absolutely, yeah. That is, there are no complaints about comfort in the room, it’s really warm and cozy, only a bunch of wet junk in the morning is absolutely incomprehensible how to dry it. Hairdryers that day were buzzing incessantly in many rooms ; ) And by the way, the ski storage closes at seven in the evening, and if you are late after apre-ski or suddenly feel the need to sharpen the edges or put paraffin in the evening, please kindly spank at the reception, look for an English speaker there an employee (I haven’t mentioned it yet, no? The staff doesn’t consider it necessary to learn English - not everyone is very able to explain themselves. Although, in fairness, it’s worth noting that a Russian-speaking receptionist works every other day and there is also a Russian manager in the restaurant) and try to explain to him what you need.
Restaurant: Generally more or less okay for dinner, but for breakfast it's not good at all. I detail: there are two for the whole hefty hall! very slow coffee machines (they also give out boiling water and milk). Therefore, immediately after opening, queues form around them for 5 minutes, or even more, and if you want a second cup, you will have to stand again. And by the way, about the cups. Really icy. Coffee cools down instantly, tea does not even try to brew. Further: hot dishes (standard set: scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages) tend to end quickly and reappear very slowly. On the second day, when I asked the waiter where the food was (I'm not picky, but everything ended right away), a phlegmatic answer was received: "yes, we'll bring it soon, wait ten minutes. " wtf? I have so much for the whole breakfast, including the queue for coffee, because the bus will not wait for me. Accordingly, either eat cheese with cold water, or take more time for breakfast. And yes, a new experience: I have never tried to tear off a cold stuck scrambled egg from a metal pan before with a round slotted spoon. Tell some Italians already that spatulas with a flat end were invented! In the evening it is better, the food is quite decent for a hotel of this level, but drinks in two dispensers tend to run out regularly. And I also got the impression that there is a categorical lack of dishes in the kitchen - all the waiters continuously ply around the hall and look out for where the plate begins to be released in order to grab it immediately, usually you don’t have time to put the appliances. Although I may be wrong, maybe they think that this is a quality service. But to answer every day a couple of times for dinner that no, leave the plate, I haven’t finished yet, it’s somewhat annoying.

Internet: There is none. Not at all. "Free! WiFi is available in the entire hotel and is free. " Lie. There is no wi-fi above the first floor, there is a signal on the first floor and in the lobby, but lazy gnomes carry ip-packets in it. In five minutes of connection, you can get mail headers or download one page, naturally without pictures. The staff responds to complaints that everything is in order, everything works. So if it is important for someone to have internet, you should go to another hotel.
SPA: They don't have a pool or a sauna. "We have a wellness center with a free gym and sauna" . Dudki. Instead of a standard relaxation center with a sauna, a hammam and loungers for relaxing muscles after skiing, they have an "Esoteric Center" in a pseudo-oriental style, equipped with an uncle with pigtails and colored trousers. One of us went there to a room with a sign "Sauna" for 10 Euros (already a familiar figure, isn't it? ), He said that this is a room with a temperature of 60 degrees and a draft. Nobody else took the risk.
Well, a few more details:
Three elevators, but one of them is for staff only, and one of the remaining ones is turned off in the evening. I'm fine, and I'm running up the stairs, but you have to keep that in mind.
There are no dishes at all in the rooms - no cups, no glasses / decanters, no fruit bowls. Plastic cup in the bathroom.
"It offers... rooms with satellite TV" Yep. Right now. 14 inch CRT box with 14 analogue Italian channels.
Blankets were brought to the hotel apparently from the sale of warehouses after the Second World War. It is clear that the concept of "duvet cover" is not known to them. Only two sheets, only hardcore.
One room - one key. Iron, with a huge leather keychain. If you are together and have gone to different places, you will have to fantasize with key logistics.

Our friends arrived with a confirmed reservation, but there was no available room. They were temporarily settled in a neighboring building in apartments (dusty, apparently not cleaned since the summer), promising to move to us the next day. They really gave out the keys, and thank God that before packing their suitcases for relocation (ski junk for 5 people for a second) they went to look. The reservation was three- and two-bed rooms. In fact, it turned out to be 2 + 2. wtf? "Let's bring you another bed, well, or you'll sleep through the night somehow, and tomorrow we'll move you completely. " Naturally, they were sent, the problem was resolved only on the third day.
And these people really think they have three stars?
