The hotel is located on a separate island of Giudecca, where there are no tourist places, shops, etc. And although free shuttles go to the center, it still hinders movement, especially since in the evening they go less and less and, as we were told, late in the evening they may stop walking altogether. The only relatively good restaurants on Giudecca (so we were told by the local guide). Just next to the Hilton (across 1 bridge) is the best meat restaurant in Venice (went - really good).
Breakfasts at the Hilton are disgusting, and even not included in the price, and for a fee - 15 euros per person - 3 types of sausages, cheese, cereals, yogurt, and that's it, not even eggs. You have to fight for bathrobes, slippers, internet, cosmetics.
At the entrance, we foolishly gave a credit card, 100 euros were immediately withdrawn from it. To our question, who allowed, for what, etc. , they just blink their eyes incomprehensibly, as a result, they took off for breakfast, a tourist tax, and the rest returned after seven days.

In general, Hilton is categorically not recommended, I don’t understand how he can assign himself 5 stars, 3 stars in fact.
Venice itself, of course, is very beautiful, but there are simply an inhuman number of people, in all the obligatory places (San Marco, the Doge's Palace, etc. ) there are queues for about forty minutes.
