Venice is one of the most visited cities in Italy, and therefore, in order to join the crowd of tourists of all colors and skin tones who have come here from all over the world, you will have to make some efforts. An endless multilingual noisy human river rolls along the narrow Venetian streets. Africans dart among the tourists, holding dozens of bags with labels of well-known companies in their hands. But all this "leftist" goods are illegal. Moreover, as posters warn, criminal liability is provided even for the purchase of such counterfeit goods!

The embankment of Venice is one of the most crowded places and one of the hottest. The temperature there, at least in July days, goes over thirty-five degrees, plus there is not the slightest sign of a shadow, everything is dressed in stone.

At first, it is difficult to imagine how the inhabitants of this unique city live in endless noise and bustle. But it is worth moving away from the embankment, having spent only 15-20 minutes, and... you meet surprisingly sparsely populated, if not deserted courtyards and canals.

An indispensable item for all tourists is the purchase of souvenirs. There are hundreds of souvenir shops, the assortment of most of them is standard: key rings, badges, T-shirts, baseball caps, magnets, badges, various colored glass decorations and, of course, Venetian masks. The latter have a couple of dozen different options in style, painting, size and, of course, price: from a small magnet mask for a few euros to a chic mask with rhinestones, the price of which reaches several thousand euros. As in any tourist city, it is the center of Venice that is the most expensive. A 0.75l bottle of water bought here costs one and a half euros, and if you walk only a couple of blocks, a one and a half liter mineral water of the same brand will cost you one and a half euros. Cafes can be conditionally divided into two types. Some have tables and seating (inside the cafe or on the street), and the second - fast food outlets that sell their takeaway dishes. There is also the ubiquitous McDonald's, crowded with people. Eating in the center without any frills (a large portion of salad, pasta, without alcohol) in a cafe with a table costs about 15-20 euros, fruit salad from a tray - 2 euros, etc. If you want to ride a gondola (the so-called "branded" Venetian boats), then be prepared to shell out 20 euros for each of the company of four people. By the way, parking in Venice is cosmically expensive. So, for parking a minibus during daylight hours, the driver must pay 470 euros! Moreover, the bus will stand on the outskirts of Venice, from where you need to get to the city by boat.

Venice is just a godsend not only for a professional photographer, but even for an amateur. Practically, any click of the camera captures views and combinations of people, boats, canals and buildings that are unusual for our eyes. Here, majestic palaces and unique architectural ensembles coexist with very shabby buildings, abandoned and poorly maintained streets and courtyards. It is in Venice that a person who does not have a special imagination will easily believe that he is not making a simple, but a journey through time. Perhaps that is why this city on the water attracts romantics from all over the world.
