When the plane lowered its altitude, after the monotony of Atlantic waters, plush green Jamaica seemed like a real paradise. And when I saw our hotel, with a characteristic swirl of land in the Caribbean Sea, from a height, there were no limits to delight. The airport in Motego Bay is located right on the beach. Morning. I went out onto the balcony and was stunned by the beauty I saw.!!! ! Probably our villa has the best location. To the left and right is the sea, in front of the balcony there is a small cozy swimming pool for adults with a bar. In the distance, hills covered with lush tropical greenery and almost snow-white villas of the hotel in the colonial style. The only tiny drawback is about 5 min. to restaurants. Almost all restaurants, bars, casinos, reception, the stage where various shows are held are concentrated in the main building, very monumental and beautiful. There is also free WI-FI.

There are 10 restaurants in all. Three - the main ones - Mo Bay, Negril (was under renovation) and the Blue Lagoon on the terrace. 7 a la carte - Indian, Italian, Mexican, Asian, grill (was under renovation), Creole, fish. I will say right away, do not waste time on Italian and Indian. I liked the Creole and fish. Almost everyone has their own bar, so you won't get bored if you suddenly have to wait for a table. There are 8 types of fresh juices, including vegetable ones. Always two kinds of fish, mussels. The meat is excellently prepared. Roasted piglet, turkey, banal chicken, you will lick your fingers, marbled beef steaks and a special respect - duck with orange sauce. On desserts, the chef rests. Fruits-bananas, pineapples, papaya, melon, lychee, I don’t know anything else, a slightly intimidating look and of course mango, probably there is no such delicious mango anywhere else !!! ! and white, brut champagne of Spanish origin, beer. All hard drinks in bars. And all strong drinks are original. (Whiskey, tequila, 3 kinds of martini, gin, etc. ) Local only rum and cocktail syrups. In the bar "Mis Lou" you could drink Imperial Club Courvoisier and Chivas 12 years old, Baileys and much more. There is also good coffee. Because, in the main restaurants, coffee was poured into cups like broth cups, with only one eye. Well, it's a completely different taste. All the people hang out during the day - near the main pool, there is also a platform where animation events are held. In the evening, in the lobby bar. Those who like a more calm and measured vacation can go to La Brizas beach or the very picturesque Sunset Cove.
At Sunset, you can take a mask and snorkel and swim to watch the fish on the coral beach, ride a catamaran or boat. There is also a fish restaurant with a bar and a primitive snack bar with drinks, where they cook traditional Jamaican grilled chicken jerk and seafood paella. This is in case you are too lazy to go to the main restaurant. And if not laziness, then you can run for champagne, cheese and mango. Tasty. On the territory there is a SPA with a private pool. I think it's 75. e. 50 min. We did not go on excursions, there was little time and special desire. The hotel staff is very friendly and not pushy. Types help make friends even more. The contingent was mostly Americans, Canadians, Spanish speakers, Russian was heard, but then everyone with whom we communicated in Russian or Polish, all turned out to be from America or Canada. I suspect that we were the first Ukrainians in this hotel. But they know about Ukraine.
It is a pity that only about Klitschko and Shevchenko. Yes, I almost forgot, wedding ceremonies are held at the hotel. They can be ordered at a special center in the main building. It's funny to watch the brides and guests in flip flops, the groom in shorts. From the treat, a large cake, a bowl of ice and champagne. Well, no extra hassle for you. People-and-and-and-! ! For some reason, the road to the airport made me associate with Gagra. On the one hand, the sea, the road along the sea and the houses clinging to the slopes of the mountains. Sad.
