I rested in this hotel from December 31 to January 7.2017 from the Feeria travel company.
The hotel does not correspond to 5 stars, maximum 3 stars.
Pros: there are Russian-speaking staff at the reception, bath accessories in the room (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body cream), hairdryer, safe and minibar (per person for a bottle of water, a can of cola and fanta) only upon check-in for free; comfortable beds, pillows and a light warm blanket, a plasma TV (channels in Arabic, films are shown in English and Arabic translation below (who understands English can watch these channels), and there is also one Russian first channel).
Cons: the pool in the hotel is not heated (the water is icy and it is unlikely to be changed there), the jacuzzi does not work, the hotel smokes everywhere and there are many smoky rooms (you can ask the reception to remove the smell of smoke in the room), they clean disgustingly (the rooms are dirty), food tasteless and monotonous

Information: if you need a bathrobe and slippers, you can ask at the reception individually, also if you don’t like the room, ask the reception for another one (you will be moved if there are free rooms). also at the reception you can ask for a guide to the sights of Aqaba and the main excursions in Russian (they hide them), many Russian tourists rest in the hotel (it seems that only Russians rest there), the hotel has primitive animation (one Russian girl sings and another dances oriental dances) in the bar near the reception (check the performances at the reception). there is no information anywhere in the hotel that you can listen to singing and watch dancing. If you want to go on excursions, there are taxis near the hotel. You can negotiate with other vacationers and take four taxis. It will be more profitable than taking excursions from guides at the hotel. If it is useful to anyone, I am writing the coordinates of the taxi driver whose services we and other vacationers from the hotel used. His name is Majed Mazen (mobile phone +00962790117649), you can contact him via Viber. Good-natured and reliable person, it was always possible to agree on the price of the trip. We went to Petra with him for a car 50 dinars for four (you must definitely take your passport with you). Waited for us there all day, which other taxi drivers do not want to do. We went to the Wadi Rum desert (also paid 50 dinars for a car). Other taxi drivers were more expensive. Walk to the city center for about half an hour. The local population is good-natured, no one pesters like in Egypt or Turkey (maximum they allow you to say hello and beep all the time when they pass by). We asked the locals why everyone was beeping, they replied that they greeted foreigners like that. At the bazaar, everyone is trying to treat something (you can eat and drink). In winter, the weather in Aqaba is not quite beach weather (it is cool in the morning and evening, strong winds, all the time passed in jackets. Constructions were built on the beach from several sunbeds to protect themselves from the wind. The water was + 22-24 degrees. We swam, but it was cold to get out of the water because of the wind. We must immediately change clothes and not stay in wet swimsuits. Towels are given on a deposit of 5 dinars or 5 bucks. It is better to change money in the city, and not in airport or hotel (now the exchange rate is 100 $ = 70 dinars. There are many banks in the city, they are open until 10 pm and constantly seven days a week. There will be no problems with the exchange, they do not charge a commission. You can also exchange euros (the exchange rate is a little more expensive). On the public beach you can’t swim in the city (dirty and locals swim only in clothes. ) All tourists are taken by bus outside the city. sell a tourist m on excursions (who flew with us, they took away the oil from everyone). It is better to clarify in advance or you can carry it on the way back.
And finally: Oryx is translated as antelope. In the hotel, these animals and the floor with horns are painted on the walls)
