If you still plan to leave, then you can also buy JordanPass there - it replaces a single entry visa and discounts to museums in Jordan. We didn't buy anything. After checking the luggage (drinking water cannot be imported) Border control - you must fill out the Questionnaire - full name, date of birth and passport number. A stamp is placed in this piece of paper, and a sticker with a barcode is also pasted into the passport. The questions are simple - for how many days, where will you live. Further, at the exit from the post, they check all the stamps and show the taxi stop. You can't walk, only by these taxis. Nearby is a shield with a price, but the manager of these taxi drivers calls the price 2 times more, if possible, you can point him to the price and bargain. Taxi is a different story.
