We traveled to Voyager in April 2013.
It just so happened that we spent the first day of our vacation at Sarowa Whitesands, and then moved to Voyager.
Of course, immediately after Sarov (and objectively still without losing the fatigue from the flight) in Voyager everything seemed somehow ...worn : )
We immediately learned about two huge minuses - Wi-Fi is paid and only in the reception area and there is NO gym (more precisely, as we were told, there is, but it is empty, there are no simulators : )
We snorted a little and spit on the stuffiness in the bathroom, on the not too kind staff in one of the lobby, on something else, went down to the relax pool overlooking the ocean. The gentle sun, blue water gradually began to tune in a more peaceful way ...
By the end of the 5 day holiday we loved this hotel so much!
In fact, this is just a delightful hotel focused on the mass tourist - animators and discos, theme nights, that's all ...©
Hotel territory — 5+
Themed interiors and exteriors.

Three pools on the territory (although the requirement to exchange towels for a towel card was a little infuriating), two bars and a sea restaurant (which, by the way, we did not find time for).
Staff - 4+.
The tortured faces of the waiters in one of the bars and the general “modesty” were a little embarrassing - they didn’t always say hello, a couple of times they didn’t even give way. But we treat this normally - people do their job and it's no wonder that they get tired. So we are not too lazy to once again be the first to say “Jambo! and smile and get the same in return : )
Security – 5+
Polite, unobtrusive men in uniform were often noticed by us performing their direct duties. They settled conflicts between tipsy guests (yes, Africans thump almost the same as Russians in Turkey : ) and periodically dispersed local merchants and hucksters with foolishness from the beach in front of the hotel.
Kitchen – 5+++
God, I ate like a baby elephant. Insanely delicious. Pleased with the design of the restaurant, tables.
A huge selection of delicious dishes every day - both traditional and European cuisine (mostly themed for dinner).
Numbers - 5.
of course, somewhere a cosmetic repair would not hurt and something needs to be done with the ventilation in the bathroom, but in general everything is ideological, beautiful, unobtrusive. A big plus is air conditioning with a remote control (in Sarov there was some kind of thermostat instead).

Short summary - I really hope to come back to Mombasa again and stay at Voyager!
