You need to be a real adventurer to go to the distant wild savannah of Africa, but you also need to be an extreme person to live almost in the open air, surrounded by wild animals - this will be provided to you at the Samburu Intrapids hotel. To be honest, this is not even a hotel, but a tent with a zipper, but what a tent - all 5 *! We ourselves could not even imagine that there are such hotels in Africa, it was the Travel Box travel agency who advised us to taste such an exclusive, but we do not regret it.

So that's what a tent is. This is a complex with all the infrastructure - there is an excellent restaurant (they served us an impala, an antelope), a swimming pool, a reception, a boutique. The rooms themselves are tents that stand on wooden stilts on the banks of an African river. There is also a veranda - here you can sit and admire the river. What struck me the most was that we were sitting on the veranda like this, sitting - we thought the crocodile would come out and didn’t wait for anything, but in the morning we were in complete shock - right in front of our tent, all the sand was in crocodile tracks and prints. It turns out they crawl out to sleep at night.

And so the hotel is very good, it is located perfectly, and from here it is convenient to go on a safari to the park. By the way, inside the tent there are all amenities - wc, hot water, shower, carved bed with romantic mosquito curtains, table, chairs and other small but necessary paraphernalia. So if you are offered a "camp" - know that this is a tent. Our hotel had a 5 * level, but I know there are tents and 3 * in Kenya, probably you should not go to 3 *.
