We rested in March 2017. I would call the hotel ^ home ^. Due to the small number of rooms and the minimum number of staff, everyone was like family. It was not at all scary to leave not only things, but even expensive equipment even on a sun lounger. Nobody was paid for anything. Nobody asked. No one, however, has never cleaned it, because they clean it only on request. We didn't even ask! The breakfast is very poor. Omelette (scrambled eggs), sausages, banana, pineapple, papaya and watermelon slice, toast, Viennese waffle slice, jam and butter. Well, and freshly squeezed juice, but with so much sugar that it was impossible to drink, tea or coffee. Everything! And there was a buffet. But according to how I ate a whole pineapple and a dozen waffles for a couple of days in a row (perhaps not only me), then everything became portioned, as I wrote above! On the ocean, except for dogs and local fishermen and us, there was no one. There were waves. But, in principle, bathed almost every day. When it was really bad, we went by train to Hikkaduwa. Very comfortably! By the way, it is better to take a ticket in the third class. Comes out, twice cheaper than the second. (It's a pity we found out about the existence of the third class late! ) We also traveled by train to Halle. We ate at Ambalangola restikki. Sanevkin and White House. But even they are terribly dirty, with the exception of the ice cream parlor. Portions of rice, especially in Sanevkino, are simply huge. By seven in the morning you can go to the ocean and buy a freshly caught lobster from the fishermen for $15. And give it to the hotel's restik to be cooked (for $ 4).
