To do this, a small ferry runs around the clock between the banks of the river. . Due to the fact that we were in quarantine and could not leave the hotel, it is very convenient that there is a jewelry store and two souvenir shops on the territory of the hotel.
The hotel is located on the first line and the distance from the building to the ocean is no more than 50 m, a lifeguard is constantly on duty on the beach. But we hardly swam in the ocean, because there were always waves.
The hotel is located on a chic coastline with fine, gentle sand, about 3 km long, along which we walked for two hours every morning before breakfast, enjoyed the beautiful nature, saw large turtles on the shore twice, watched crabs and sea urchins. We also watched amazing sunsets in the evenings. Couples in love organized romantic dinners on the ocean.
The hotel has a surf school and the guys from Belarus, whom we met at the hotel, chose this hotel to go surfing.
The hotel has a wonderful pool 50 meters long, not very deep (1.5 m), but it was very comfortable to swim in the pool in which the water temperature was constantly about 30 degrees.
Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Catches even on the beach.
The hotel also has a very beautiful and cozy SPA, which has many packages of services and you can choose a massage for every taste.
Due to the tightening of quarantine in Sri Lanka, we canceled all planned excursions and we decided to spend time with health benefits. Did Ayurvedic massages with a friend every day. Highly recommended by spa massage therapist Nalinda, who is a real expert in his field.
The staff is polite and friendly.
The food is delicious but not very varied.
The room is cleaned every day and very beautiful elephants are made.
The hotel left a very good impression and I want to come back here again.

In a travel agency, we purchased a last-minute ticket to the Centara Ceysands Resort & SPA hotel. It was the best decision for our holiday. The tour operator did not just advertise, but honestly spoke about the conditions of living at the hotel. In fact, everything is much cooler than in the photo or in the stories.

The hotel is beautiful, the room is amazing, the staff is always running around and asking if you need something, there is a spa center. The room is just wow, huge bed, white linen, good bathroom, cleaning already twice a day. The restaurant was even more exciting. There was so much food that for ten days of stay, even though the menu for breakfast was the same, but we ate a different dish every day, the choice of food is really chic. There is a beach near the hotel, but there are also pools on the territory, and all because it is out of season, you don’t swim in the ocean and then everyone relaxes by the pools. There are a lot of sun loungers, they didn’t lie on each other’s heads. I would like to return to Sri Lanka, of course yes, if to the Centara hotel.

The bathroom and toilet are in different rooms, which is very convenient, but very rare to find. Cleaning was done every day. Food was taken by NV. It is quite enough to be full and tasty, eat varied daily. There was a good assortment of meat, fish, seafood for some reason was not enough. In the morning there was always the aroma of fresh pastries, a good cheese plate, omelettes. Dinners with a wonderful selection of side dishes and appetizers, salads, vegetables. Fruits are juicy, ripe, especially pineapples and grapes. The drinks are quality. The territory near the hotel is small, well-groomed, even animals run and birds fly) The pool is clean, there are always enough sunbeds, there are beach towels, they change regularly. The beach seems to be well-groomed, of course it was hard to swim, the ocean is restless, but you can sunbathe in plenty) For the hotel staff, I can say that they are very pleasant and polite people, nothing was missing from our room, there were no conflicts with anyone. The hotel is quiet, cozy, romantic, pleasant furnishings of the rooms, a homely atmosphere in the kitchen, pleasant communication with the staff. I liked it and if we rest in Sri Lanka again, then we will certainly come here!

The room was given more like a suite than a standard. Huge with several exits - to the beach, to the pool, with a jacuzzi. Wifi was good in the room, but not very good signal. The food is good, but a lot of spicy dishes. The staff is polite.

Our trip started with a good mood and great company. Arriving on March 8 at 05.00 in the morning at our Ceysands hotel, our company was in a good mood and the feeling of a holiday quickly disappeared, we were SHOCKED!! ! By our faces, the manager realized that we would not be late, the time difference forced us to settle in the hotel. So, imagine a sanatorium built in the 70s and without repair until 2010, surrounded by a fence (mesh), where the greenery has gone, the situation in the rooms is terrible, the bed from the air conditioner is wet, the towel with a terrible smell (the problem of most hotels) : (, breakfast / dinner buffet choice 0 in the morning rice / in the evening pasta, no fruit, you have to ask for water, staff can eat at the next table. And yet we spent 1 day in this hotel, while the tour operator (without enthusiasm) decided our resettlement, the holiday on March 8 for us (4 girls) was ruined! The only thing that can be said about this hotel: the staff is friendly, friendly (although sometimes stupid of course) a monitor lizard walks around the territory and squirrels eat nuts from their hands. And also on the beach, the local guide offers (inexpensive and without cheating) a tour of Sri Lanka (name is Monty) a good, decent guy is always ready to help, many thanks to him! And on March 9 we were transferred to another Coral Gardens hotel (Hikkaduwa), and here our vacation began: ) a good hotel, during the day you can walk along the beach or the street, food is a great choice, the only thing is a lot of crows that steal food if you eat on the street: ) (locals like to celebrate weddings in the hotel). Well, sadly, our vacation was coming to an end, and on 17 we decide to stay until 25 (it seemed a little 11 days), we ourselves chose the Serendib otel 3 * $ 63 per person All inc, finally the towel smells, green lawns, every morning on the beach you can ride an elephant $ 8-10 photo with a monkey, local souvenirs (bargaining is mandatory), the only thing we had to buy a new air ticket was $ 450, if we suddenly decide to visit Sri Lanka again now without the services of a tour operator, it’s much cheaper. Summing up, if you are going to Sri Lanka, be prepared: most of the vacationers are Germans, Czechs and only All inc (except excursion days) otherwise splurge on drinks in the store for local water 20 rupees for a vacation. 50 rupees, is there a doctor in the hotels (if not, the call is $ 40), sometimes the staff does not want to hear you at all (ignores) but at the same time it waits for a tip almost with outstretched hand and it is annoying.
