The Bawa brothers, Bevis the Elder and Jeffrey the Younger, are well-known and creative people on the island and beyond. Both were avid experimenters in terms of style. The first created a private garden Brief Garden and landscapes in several hotels in the 1970s (I wrote about it many years ago for the magazine "Around the World. Geosphere"), the second at 38 began his career as an architect, achieving great success. over projects of villas and country estates, resort hotels and residences in Colombo, the university and even the new parliament building in Cote.→
