Yes, and we went only for a week, I wanted not to bother, but to lie more on the beach. on the very first day we ran into the sea (it was already dark) and the locals immediately warned us that it was dangerous to swim when it was dark, because jellyfish are at this time and the flow near the nearby Bentota River is unpredictable. But how not to go swimming on the first day of arrival in such a paradise ! ! unreal : ) Impressions from the ocean: 5 +++, who writes here that it is not salty enough, he needs to go to the Dead Sea or Iceland to the Blue Lagoon geyser, it definitely does not get saltier there. The water is clean, the river does not bother at all with its flow into the ocean, it is simply imperceptible. The hotel is cleaned every day, we took HB. Breakfast is so-so, but dinner is quite normal, the food is delicious, the musicians sing, 1 time there was even an open-air dinner with a performance. The animation didn’t suffer either, although we didn’t go to it at all) We agreed with the locals on the beach for a tour of the Bentota River and sea fishing (although we were warned that you wouldn’t catch anything anyway, but my mother caught a healthy tuna and right away))). By the way, I want to say separately about theft - if you close the room with a key, then nothing will be stolen. Just a little bit of vigilance is needed. As for the local population. they themselves personally handed over to the local guys to change rubles in the exchange office in the city and everyone always brought everything back to the penny. left 100 times things on the beach went swimming for a long time, they came, as everything lay and lies.
