Breakfasts are good like everywhere else, but coffee is better than in Egypt and natural juices, we dine in the surrounding restaurants - from 1200 Sri Lankan rupees (1 US dollar = 126.5 rupees) and more. . . an average of 2300-2500 Sri Lankan rupees for a dinner with meat, shrimp, fresh juice and beer is enough. Lobster 2500-4000 rupees - in different restaurants and in different ways. And this is much better than a hotel, cheaper and the stomach does not interfere with living, enjoying your vacation. . . There are also All-inclusive systems and breakfasts and dinners. The rooms are a little smaller than in the Egyptian 5s, the bathrooms too, but there is plenty of space and even more. The room has a safe, a king size bed, a second bed with a lot of pillows, a TV, a coffee table and a desk, a soul chair. The rooms are quite neat, cleaning every day and even 2-3 times when we leave. Beln snow-white, change in my opinion every other day, towels - every day. TV in the room "Samsung" LCD with DVD, there is "National Geographic" and Russian channel, international channels and national Sri Lankan. The staff is courteous, well-trained, they do not ask for money, but you yourself want to give "tips", how they look after you - well done, better than the Egyptians or Greeks. every evening (when we are not in the room they bring chocolates or sweets. The sockets are English but they gave adapters, there is a fumigator, a hairdryer in the bathroom, a shower set, slippers. The hotel has one pool with fresh, slightly chlorinated running water (water renewal system), a bar pools, trestle bed mattresses and towels - free of charge, the boy will give out towels, bring a mattress, put a sunbed wherever you want, they don’t ask for money, but I give everyone 100 rupees and they are blessed - I don’t feel sorry for good people for their service and kind attitude. Many speak Russian , one even knows Ukrainian words, although he claimed that he did not study anywhere - talent. In each room (maybe this applies only to the superrior, but it seems everywhere) there is a large loggia with sofas and pillows, a table and two chairs - wooden. All have a view of the ocean , which makes noise and carries us (3-1 floor of the hotel) a fresh breeze - the smell is awesome. In the rooms and the hotel (reception) - free WF, the code is given at the reception. The beach is municipal, on the left is coral (dead after the last tsunami), on the right is sand in the lagoon, a wide large beach. when everyone around (Bentotta and others) cannot go into the sea because of the waves - our waves end 200 m from the berg on the separating reef, it is quiet near the shore and you can swim in shallow water (up to 3 m). at 16.00 a young sea turtle comes to feed on algae. A local beach boy of about 50 has been feeding her for 7 years (as he said) and we also fed and took pictures, she swims right into her hands - she is used to the good attitude of people. With us, the Germans tried to take her on fins - the locals forbade so as not to frighten the cute animal. Overall a great hotel with a great beach. True 5.10 groups of Chinese arrived. . . many Chinese. . . But I hope it imports rest. Yes. acclimatization was going on in the first days, the heat and high humidity got it, but it’s already becoming normal and you don’t even have to turn on the code - you need to be careful with these. The hotel air conditioners are not automatic - not the climate system and must be turned off in time (for the night). Many snot after them. And be especially careful with the sun - the first days be ONLY in the shade. Don't notice and burn like me. Smear yourself with sunscreen or better not take off your T-shirts even in the water - I burned out (shoulders, back and arms) in the water, I was not even going to sunbathe. Ocean. Clean and very warm - 27 degrees. You can't even cool down, the breeze blows after swimming. Were with our TEZ-tour on 04.10. (from 4 to 24 hours) on excursions to Kandy: we went in a minibus (with air conditioning) to an elephant nursery, a tea plantation, a tea factory, a tea shop (only there you need to buy tea), a factory drag. stones, the Royal Botanical Garden, the Spice Garden and the Temple of the Tooth Relic. I was especially impressed by the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical Garden - very beautiful. Well done guide - Udid is a cheerful and positive guy, he tried his best, he speaks good Russian. There were six in a minibus for 19 people. I recommend.
