A week has passed since our trip, and I still can’t recover and tune in to work. A magical week in Sri Lanka flew by very quickly, but memories and impressions will remain for a long time. . .
Since a lot has already been written about the country, and you still need to see everything with your own eyes. The country, people, nature, and most importantly - the ocean, leaves an indelible impression, indescribable beauty. Although the flight and transfer to the hotel is a little tiring, but it's worth it.

I will write a little about the hotel. We rested as two families with three children 7.10 and 11 years old. Do not be afraid to travel with children, the hotel is excellent, food and service are at the level, we took breakfasts and dinners, sometimes dined in nearby cafes (I don’t advise going to the Dolphin restaurant, the portions are small and the taste is not very good). According to the reviews of tourists near the hotel on the beach, they found a local Sampada guy, with whom our vacation went superrr... The local guy speaks Russian, has his own minibus, jeep and boat, for normal money! (you can agree) organized an unforgettable vacation for us - we saw all of Sri Lanka, although we were with children, they liked the excursions the most, although the transfers are a bit tiring. We went to Kandy on the second day of rest with Holiday Exotic (we were afraid to go far with a local guide, although later we regretted it), we went only by our company (7 people) by minibus (from 5 am to 1 am the next day) the journeys are tiring, but we both everyone forgot when they saw elephants in Pinawal, and then everything went in one breath, the guide was very good (a man of about 60, a retired tea scientist, his wife is Russian, his name is Clement, ask him if you go with Holiday, don’t sorry) excursions with him were very interesting even for children who listened to him with their mouths open. And then we went all the time with a local guy Sampad, we were at a turtle farm, we rode around the lagoon, we were in the spice garden, on a safari in Yala (I liked it very much, thanks to our guide), we were in Gala - not very interesting but you can see. In general, the rest was intense, but you also managed to get a tan, even managed to burn out, be sure to use sunscreen, even if there is no sun. It is very convenient to swim in the lagoon, there are no waves, the water is 30 degrees, every day we saw huge turtles, the children fed them, there are many colorful fish near the reefs. In general, the territory and the hotel itself, as we saw the best in Hikkaduwa. Rooms, service and food excellent. Although there is one caveat, when you check in, ask the room to remove everything from the minibar if you do not plan to use it, otherwise it may turn out that you yourself “drank” a couple of bottles of something without knowing it. Our friends did it, but since the evening before departure we went to the reception to pay for the room and found out, calling the manager there and settled everything (it turned out that two bottles of Redbull seemed open to them, but then after our claims everything turned out to be fine) You can perfectly explain yourself to everyone without knowing the language, although I knew the English language from our company more than anyone else, and then at the level of the fifth grade with a dictionary.
