We flew to Sri Lanka unexpectedly and suddenly. That’s why they didn’t have time to mentally tune in to rest not for “seals”))
The first bummer happened when our flight was rescheduled for 3 hours, fortunately, the connecting one was also rescheduled, because we would have lived half the plane in Dubai for a day, and given that they are brought to the 2nd terminal for transit, it would be terrible. My black humor on the topic "the plane was delayed due to another tsunami" was not appreciated by many) It was already evening, we finally flew out of Kyiv. They didn’t feed them in flight ...but what, change the airline at the last moment and not warn - it’s so Ukrainian. Food and drinks could be bought on board, about 2-3u. e. After 4.30 hours, the OAU met us with stuffiness, even cut with a knife, and a temperature of +40 at about one in the morning. With quick jumps, I managed to transfer, then a new flight to Colombo, and again without food, with not always violets smelling of Arabs and natives, a zone of turbulence.
They flew through the customs hell, there is no other way to call it. We issued visas in Kyiv, where this is obviously not seen often. The luggage was hardly found and it was good that it was packed, otherwise different things were hanging on the tape. We found a meeting party named Nyasha...how nice. The hotel is 5 hours away in traffic jams, heat, humidity of 94%. There were moments when I temporarily lost consciousness and came to my senses near the next stop. In general, we got to the hotel a day later, at the reception I filled out something, I remember the stairs, the bed and ......it's dark. I liked the hotel very much. The staff is polite, courteous and well trained. Everything is cleaned, everything is enough, the territory is always clean and comfortable. I woke up from the fact that acclimatization had begun, looked out the window and was stunned - NIGHT. What a pity you missed dinner. And then looked at the clock - 19 pm. Gathering the rest of her strength, she went to eat. The food, I must say, is excellent. We took breakfast and dinner - it was quite enough, it was very tasty.

I am a fan of flour and everything in general. There was almost no seafood, but the rest ...mmm, you will lick your fingers. Acclimatization takes place there for almost everyone, so take a cold and do not hesitate to rinse your nose with ocean water. When the cold began to recede, I got seasick. Consider those who suffer from it, but want to sleep with windows open to the ocean. Somewhere on the 3rd day, a small typhoon hit the hotel, well, for the locals, rain and bad weather. for us - the revenge of the Gods and an open day in hell. Honestly, I read all day and enjoyed the raging ocean. The next day I decided that it was enough to stay in a hotel, I flew to the wrong place, found friends from Donetsk, learned to understand Indian English, agreed on a 2-day excursion. At 3 am rise, departure, 4 hours of travel, jungle, and, oh, Gods, the first place of pilgrimage is the elephant farm.
Ride on elephants, take pictures, nothing like that, but you feel sorry for the elephants. They are beaten with sticks to keep them walking. Further climbing the mountain in Sigiriya. But no one warned that it was high up there! With my fear, and in the same place, either forward or nothing ...almost with tears from impotence, she climbed up, cursed everyone and everything, thought about whether I had a sound mind in principle. Having not received a proper answer, she began to converge, not without the help of a new Donetsk friend (Egor, hello! ), who only repeated with the tenderness of a child "you swear so cute. " Then again the road is like a kaleidoscope - Dambulla, spice garden, night serpentine somewhere up, full moon, dinner, beer, bats, monitor lizards in the room, overnight and, long live the second day of excursions and strength testing. By the way, the hotel for the night was not bad at all, the breakfast, like everywhere else, was good. Again descent along the serpentine, the Temple of the Tooth Relic. It was touching that after that I had to buy back my own shoes.
To be honest, this moment - pay for everything and everyone, has a very sharp negative effect on the desire to return to this country. Because on a tip and just "give" you can go broke. Oh yes, don't smell the Lotus flower - it's forbidden. So, after the temple, communication with local monkeys and residents, we rushed to the Royal Botanical Garden. How I wanted to lie down in the shade of some wonderful tree and wake up at home. Quick photo, rain. Rain is normal there. Poured, carried away, and you stand and dry, goofy from strength and speed. We found some kind of supermarket, bought food, as it was just scary to eat on the way. And then ...then there was something that made me remember the entire vocabulary of the Russian present, pouring it out on our guide, who, as it turned out, only memorized a few phrases in Russian, practically did not understand English, and in German we started talking at the end. Serpentine!
On it high up and steeply down we raced to the waterfalls and forefathers at a speed of 80 km/h. No, really, there were moments when I wanted to scratch the glass and shout "I want to live! I'm still too young to die, even in the land of the Buddha. " When we got out of the car, our legs were trembling, and the condition was worse than from sea rolling, our guide knew all the power of the great and mighty from the lips of a real Slavic woman. Only after bathing in a waterfall, the mind returned to the body. After talking with the driver, we overcame the further path at a much lower speed, which gave us a chance to consider not only nature, but also ourselves in the mirror, in which, after all, it was no longer even reflected. The last trip was to Ceylon. In Ceylon, they saw how they grow, collect, process tea. Beauty, of course, and deliciousness. In reality, it is worth taking only tea from the country, you can buy it just at the factory in the store, and rum.

Finally, after that, the realization came that we were still going home, tired to shit, but satisfied. We also went down “fun”, the bus crashed in front of us at a bend, the driver’s corpse was eloquent, and we mentally thanked all the gods that our path was still more successful ...we drove to the hotel for 5 hours, the streets looked more like a traffic jam at a disco with chaotic Brownian motion than a track. We arrived at the hotel at night, we had enough strength to buy rum and plunge into the pool, arrange a meeting at the place of execution for sacrifices in 20 minutes. Sitting down on the ocean, the first two glasses, we were silent. Even the fact that the natives have a full moon, which means a strict ban on alcohol, we managed to negotiate with the local "Che Guevara" for a small bribe, and calmly relieve deep stress by diving into memories and glasses. The morning of the last day greeted us with magnificent weather, gentle breeze and strange sadness.
We just went to the ocean, swam and took pictures. Well, how they swam ...they rode the waves, because in the south of Lanka it’s not the season now and the ocean is always in a state of storm, and there are waves ...it’s not the sea, a little further than the right two steps, and you were washed away, carried away into the unknown direction, undercurrents washed away from below and now you are in the kings. The ocean, I tell you ...gives the very feeling of power and power that it has. I didn’t feel the bottom like that, I only had time to shout “mom”. How I got out, I don't know. At another moment, I thought, I’ll put the bricks aside, when I turned around and saw a corpse nearby, which later turned out to be an ordinary “bastard” (this is how the locals affectionately call a turtle that comes to the shore to eat). After the ocean, we walked around the city a little more, once again we were stunned by the terrible poverty in the country and, at the same time, unimaginable luxury literally behind the fence. A country of tangible contrasts.
In the end, I learned how to bargain decently and send immediately after the word "high". They stick not like in Turkey or Egypt on sexual grounds, but on the grounds of "give deeng". In the evening, as if it were evil, dinner, music, moments ...everything seemed to say "everything is so wonderful, don't leave, stay a little longer" ...then all by yourself. The flight, according to the old "good" tradition, was postponed for 3 hours, therefore, in order to have something to do, we played cards, sitting right in the waiting room for the bus to the plane, causing bouts of undisguised interest among the locals. The flight to Dubai was difficult, it was all the time sickening. Why, this wonderful state let me go 3 days after arrival. Uncomfortable posture, stiff limbs, fatigue, minor negative moments and poor health ...all this is behind us. This trip was worth it to experience it all. Nature is gorgeous, the ocean, animals, people...
I saw another world. It was not the seal rest we were used to. To some extent, it was extreme, and I am again ready for new achievements; )

Of course, Indian English is something, but nevertheless, everyone understands everything perfectly. From the outside it may seem that the story is heavy and full of negative points, but it is not. This is completely different from the usual. But again...great...
As a sign - there I forgot one of my things, for which, as I understand it, I will have to return, but already adjusted for the previous experience : )
This is not the country where you need to go and sit in a hotel. If you have any questions, ask, I will answer with pleasure)
