Не оправдал ожиданий Didn't live up to expectations

We rested at the end of February with a young man. The hotel was chosen based on reviews. But alas, the expectations were not met. And now for the points.
1) Location. The hotel is located on the first coastline. Everything would be fine, but under the hotel there is a parking of boats and in order to swim normally, you have to go either to the left or to the right. Sometimes it smelled strongly of gasoline. The hotel is about 4 hours drive from Colombo, right on the road. There are shopping arcades nearby, but the prices are too high. But there is an excellent restaurant GETFRESH. Portions are huge and prices are great
2) Staff. Almost after a daily flight, when we got to the hotel, we hoped to check in, but... As it turned out, we were not on the lists! The manager said that our reservation was rejected by the senior manager and there were no places in the hotel! And the money has been paid. Then he allegedly entered into our position and offered to stay for 9 days instead of 10. Super! Then, purely by chance, a guide appeared who sold us excursions and said: "You bought excursions from me, I will help you" and we were left for 10 days. I mean, what if we didn't buy them? In short, complete disorganization and divorce. The staff creeps in front of foreigners, hugs them and makes various compliments, but Russians / Ukrainians do not care.

3) Nutrition. Took breakfast and dinner. Of course, a little monotonous, but very tasty) That's a plus for the food.
4) Room. Since I wrote above that there were supposedly no places (although they booked a month in advance), we were settled in an aging room in the old building. All furniture is old. There are no complaints about cleaning. Cleaned up once a day. Sometimes they forgot to immediately put towels, but after a couple of hours they brought. And again, the bed was decorated with flowers for foreigners (those who litter with money). We were decorated once, and then as we understood by chance, because we were training a new employee.
5) Entertainment. There are none on the territory. There is a swimming pool. In the first days of our holiday, it was transparent. But a couple of days before our departure it was terribly muddy, the bottom was not visible. Dinner had live music
As we were told, the hotel is a four, no! I cannot agree with this. The hotel, as indicated, on the top three. And since at the very beginning they ruined our vacation, my rating is 2.
