I have been many times in Egypt, Turkey, India in hotels of different categories, so there is something to compare with, but I went to Sri Lanka for the first time, to be honest, I was preparing for the worst, but I was very pleasantly surprised !! ! This hotel is excellent for its category! We got a room on the second floor overlooking the street, there are no complaints about the room, a wonderful bathroom, a wonderful shower and the most interesting thing for the first time I see this is that the room would be cleaned twice (I have not seen this in 5 * hotels). In the room there is an electric kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, cream and 0.5 of drinking water per number of residents, replenished every day. We had breakfasts and dinners, we ate, we didn’t go hungry. The territory is not big, but cozy, people are very friendly, they will always help, you just need to know at least a little spoken English. You can’t swim in front of the hotel with stones, you have to go 300 meters to the right, there is a beautiful lagoon, along the way you can feed the floating turtles with algae that swim ashore. We took seeds with us, fed the chipmunks, there are a lot of them, it’s hard to say who enjoyed it more, we or the chipmunks, we saw very important lizards going about their business, in general, nature is beautiful and unity with nature too. I really liked the result, I would return there many more times.
