If you want, you can swim in the waves, but it's hard to swim out there. But you can swim in the lagoon, it is separated by a coral reef. It's quite calm, the water is wonderful. This is a turtle lagoon and turtles can swim under you. And this is the only beach where we saw lifeguards. In principle, everything is fine, we really liked it. I would like to recommend a restaurant opposite the hotel, where prices are very reasonable and the food is insanely delicious. Ttu can easily reserve a table. There is a restaurant "Moonlight" - there is a very interesting fresh juice and avocado soup. If you want to buy jewelry - then only in Hikkaduwa. There are good prices and they give certificates. Tuk-tuk tours are cheap and a lot of fun. For a small fee you will be shown a lot. I liked the rest very much.

We chose this hotel for its price and location, we considered such an option to be close to the ocean. There were three different beaches 1 km to the left and right of the hotel, we really liked it. The ocean is beautiful, the beaches are good, and the impression of the hotel is twofold. The food was not very good, 3-4 points out of 10.

We were worried that the ocean was restless, but it was even for the better! Finally, we tried surfing, with the help of the inimitable Jeevan, a wonderful person, without whom the rest would have simply failed! He speaks excellent Russian, sings songs, jokes and swears at ours! ))))))))))))))) He took us on excursions, surfing, markets, etc.

And, by the way, it was possible not to take lunches and dinners... Eating is very cheap....Having bypassed a bunch of establishments, we stopped for price and quality in a cafe right opposite the exit from the hotel....the only drawback of which is that no ocean view..... But the prices are just a ball !!!!!! ! A huge crab, for example, 50 UAH..... You can bring your own booze everywhere....which can not be said about the hotel... there is a huge fine for this... From local drinks I recommend Rum....

To swim normally and not hurt your feet on the reefs, you need to go away from the hotel. There are a lot of reefs near the hotel, you have to look for places with sand to go into the water. They took breakfast and dinner, they feed normally. The impression of the rest was spoiled by the hotel room. Wi-fi only at the reception and that does not always work well.
