good day everyone. Rested from 7 to 18 February. Read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel before going. but on arrival we were pleasantly surprised - friendly staff, quick check-in and a good room. the room was given on the 1st floor, new furniture, working air conditioning and a ceiling fan (silent)) clean bedding, hot water. but upset by the lack of a TV, which was reported to the hotel manager, who immediately promised to replace the room. the next day we were in another room on the 2nd floor, already with a TV and with a beautiful view of the ocean. . . the room was cleaned daily, the towels were changed every day, for leaving a tip (chocolate), we were decorated with a bed with little animals made of towels. The staff is very friendly and you can see that they are trying very hard. . . Meals - breakfast and dinner. The menu is varied, everyone could find something to their liking, a large selection of fruits. one drawback for us is the presence of spicy food) for lunch we went to cafes, of which there is a great abundance, both from the ocean and in the city. on average, lunch cost 1500-1700 rupees for two. . . the hotel area is small, but cozy (and catches wi-fi)) the hotel does not have its own beach, but this does not spoil it - there are excellent beaches to the right and left 100 meters away. there were enough sun beds for everyone, so it was not necessary to get up at 7 in the morning and take a seat. . . Excursions - first they took from the scourge of battles - a trip to the lagoon, a turtle farm. . . then moved out on their own. a trip to colombo on a local express took 2.5 hours and cost 185 rupees per person. in Galle we went by local bus, 140 rupees for two in both directions (a trip by tuk-tuk would cost 1000 rupees). . . and now about the main thing - the beautiful ocean, palm trees, chipmunks, goannas. . . unforgettable experience. . . Only now at home you realize how much this is not enough. . . smiling and friendly locals, a wonderful country with its way of life and culture. would love to go again!! !
