We stayed at the hotel in February 2010.
Previously, they didn’t rest in “troikas”, so they set themselves up that everything would be “modest”.
Maybe that's why we came from Sri Lanka with good impressions.
From the beginning, we were settled on the first floor - the shower was leaking, the toilet was not working, in general, we immediately stated that this did not suit us, we were promised relocation the next day.
And indeed, they moved to the second floor, everything worked properly there, everything was clean and we had no more complaints about the room. As I understand it, everyone is first settled on the first floor - suddenly someone who is not demanding gets caught.

The food is normal. We took breakfast and dinner. They didn't leave hungry. Sometimes for dinner, some dishes were spicy, but there was always an alternative. Very tasty pineapples - we just ate too much. For lunch, we went by tuk-tuk for $ 2 to the city to a restaurant, basically we took fish dishes for $ 20-30 for two, it’s enough.
The ocean, of course, surprised (the Atlantic is much calmer), so I was pleased that the hotel has two places for swimming - in front of the hotel the ocean is more stormy, and on the right behind the stones the ocean is calmer, so we went swimming mainly there. There are also boats of local fishermen, somewhere at 18.00 they go into the ocean to fish all night, you can shoot this action with a camera.
On the very first day, you will be "attacked" by Beach Boys, I advise you to first take a closer look, because you have witnessed stormy clarifications between our vacationers and local "battles". As elsewhere, there are normal people, but there are hunters to deceive and “warm up”.
We chose Harindra, he was always in a hurry to fulfill all our wishes and left a good impression of himself. The husband presented him with a cap upon departure, so you can easily recognize him by the yellow headdress. We went on a river safari (I really liked it) to a turtle farm, to a spice garden. We didn’t take long-distance excursions (we somehow “didn’t smile” until five o’clock in one direction), we decided that we would return to Sri Lanka and plan excursions to Kandy and Sigiriya next time.
In general, Sri Lanka really liked its nature - a lot of living creatures, greenery, a beautiful ocean, sun, air. We had a great time and we wish you the same!
P. S. If you do not know English, take a phrasebook or a small dictionary with you to simply explain your wishes if necessary, so they will understand you faster and more willingly fulfill all your requirements.
