The flight to Sri Lanka from Donetsk took about 10 hours, including a transfer. FlyDubay airlines pleased with new planes, friendly stewardesses and monitors on chairs, but the food there is paid, expensive and inedible (only fast food, which, you know, does not add health), so I recommend taking food with you in hand luggage. Then, when we and our first-aid kit (the wife of a doctor) settled everything, the person felt better, the stewardess came up and said: “Are you feeling better? And then you scared us! ” Here is such a medical help there : ).
Duty free Dubai is certainly more interesting than Sri Lankan, although you can take a walk there.
For fans of IPAD, IPHONE I will post pictures with prices in Duty Free Dubai. In Colombo there was an IPHONE for $50.64 memory, but I think something is not right there....

The room is spacious, clean, all the furniture is made of mahogany (they don't grow anything else there : ))

Prices in cafes (20 m from the hotel) are at the level of expensive Ukrainian ones. It's good to eat for two $20-40 at a time. The food is mostly edible. Eat everything spicy MANDATORY, or drink a lot of hard liquor, or eat an antiparasitic program (by the way, the most effective option) !! ! Otherwise it will be. . . food poisoning (at best). We knew this nuance in advance and ate an antiparasitic. As a result, even when they ate unwashed fruits (sometimes it turned out that way), there was nothing to worry about. The hotel neighbors had problems (this mainly concerned women and children, because the male part of tourists constantly studying the features of local and not only alcoholic drinks felt great : )).
Drinking water is really very bad and tasteless!! ! We solved this issue by adding a coral mineralizer and colloidal silver to it (we took it with us, they don’t have this).
Count carefully when you buy something not in a supermarket - they like to cheat our tourists very much.
Be sure to visit the botanical garden in Kandy (it is the largest in Asia).
As for jewelry - not for everyone (both in price and quality). In any case, if you want to buy something there, before that, at least go to a jewelry store in your homeland and learn to distinguish sapphire from topaz : ) or whatever interests you there, otherwise there is a risk of "getting in". My subjective opinion is that it is better to buy jewelry in Dubai.
Were in expensive hotels visiting friends. To be honest, taking into account the difference in cost (almost twice), our hotel had definitely more spacious comfortable rooms (from a European point of view), a more beautiful beach and a much better view from the window. Here.
As always, thanks to the travel agency "Udacha-Tour" from Kramatorsk for the quality services provided (see my previous reviews). Everything that was promised coincided with reality (it pleases). Moreover, the "social survey" of our hotel neighbors showed that our vouchers are cheaper by $300-400 without any loss in quality!! ! It's also fun : )
